I don't remember much after that just waking up to Soda jumping on me, "What the... Everything okay? What are you doing?" I ask sleepily.

"It's Camellia, she's hurt, bad in the lot, come on!" He's says pulling me off the bed, I fall on the floor, I heard Johnny snort in the door way.

"Buddy, You okay?!" He asks shaking me.

"Yeah, don't yank do hard." I say getting up off the floor, "Well let's go!" I say, I start to run to the lot, Soda and Darry ran past me. I saw Camellia she was beat up with a cut from the corner of her eye to the corner of her mouth. Her clothes were ripped up and she was almost in tears, Soda runs down beside her. Darry and I ran to the sides of Soda, Johnny ran to Soda's right with me. Soda spoke quietly, "Hey, Camellia, it's me, Sodapop, you okay?" She shook her head no,

"She got mad, so I ran out, and then the Soc's they tried to rape me, and take me." She started crying, "I can't Soda," she sniffled "I can't deal with them. I live in fear, and I can't. I ran away with that bag of stuff in it" she pointed at a bag. "I don't know anymore." she broke down in tears and Soda hugged her. I might have to find a job somewhere to support all of us if we take her in. "Tell ya what," Soda said to her, "if you get a job you can stay at our place." She pushed up he glasses, she nodded.

"I have a job. Thank you."

"Hey Darry should I get some job or something, I saw the department store has an opening."

"Look at you, growing up, wouldn't be a bad thing." he said he was being real nice, like super nice. "With your math skills you'll do great."
When she was over later everyone else came to hear about it.

"So... what is in your fancy duffel bag?" Soda asked she picked up her bag,

"This bag in the bag it bathroom stuff" she took out a smaller bag "this is just cloths" she pulls out about 5 outfits "eye glasses case, and..." she pulls out a small bag with something it she shoves it back in, "that's it." she tries to hide it. Two-Bit took it and opened the bag she didn't notice.

"What the..." Two-Bit says pulling out two pairs of weird shoes. She looks up an turns red, she reached for them but Two-Bit pulled them back more. "What are these?" He asks, she mumbled something and we leaned in. "What?" He asks again.

"I used to Irish dance, they are the shoes." she says looking at the floor, "it's why I use my legs mostly and not my arms."

"Put em' on. I've never seen Irish dancing." I say watching her she takes the bigger pair that made noise and put them on. She did the weird step with her feet, it looked really cool. She bowed, and put the other shoes on then she did other steps but everything all together was about four minutes. We all clapped as she finished, we looked at her in it was amazing. "So these Soc's what did they do to you?" Dally asked,

"I was walking when three popped out of the car two pined me to the car inside the car. Then they were kissing me and trying to rip off my shirt, after a while I knocked three out with my legs and the other two drove off. The thing is the our took my glasses off before hand. I can't really see with out these on. If I were to take them off you all'd be colorful blobs. " She said to us and she looked at the ground. we all just look at her for a minute and Two-Bit nudged her, "Lets go rumble with the Soc's." He said he face brightened,

"I'm in." she says everyone starts to get 'rumble ready'. Camellia put on shorts and a tank top. She reached into her bag and pulled out medical tape. She put them in the bag the Irish shoes were in and a first-aid kit. "We all need to stay alive so for afterward y'all don't need to go to the hospital."
