The Aftermath (COMPLETED)

Gang Tae is in the verge of panicking because TaeYoung can't stop crying since Mun Yeong left. Separation Anxiety. This is the first time Mun Yeong has been away from the twins. He placed TaeYoung on his lap as he sit in the couch to offer him a milk. Gang Tae sigh as TaeYoung doesn't want to drink it. He stand up again and begin swaying his body while caressing his son's back.

"Shhhh. TaeYoung ah, please stop crying." he said and TaeYoung starts to cry harder. As he sway - he noticed GaYoung in the baby monitor placed near the table. She is now awake and  she started crying too.

Gang Tae runs to the baby room (at night the twins still sleep in their bedroom) He picked her up too. He feels her skin is warm. He checked her temperature and she has a fever.

He put TaeYoung on his crib and he calls Juri's mom.. As he gets the emergency bag on the cabinet. GaYoung started vomitting.

Gang Tae rushed to her and changed her clothes. Juri's mom came in no time.

"What's happening?" she asked

"Uhmm, GaYoung has a fever and she threw up. I need bring her to the hospital. Can you please take care of TaeYoung?"

"Of course." she patted his back "Drive carefully. She's gonna be okay." she added

Gang Tae rushed to their car and placed GaYoung on the baby seat. He begun driving. He noticed how uneasy she is. Luckily there is a hospital near their house. It was just a 7-10 minutes drive.

While the doctor is checking on GaYoung he remembered Mun Young. He checked his phone and saw 25 missed calls and 13 text messages. He closed his eyes and breath heavily. He dialed her number....

"Yah! MOON GANG T---"  he sighed

"MunYeong ah...."  he started

"Why? What happened?" MunYeong breath heavily. Praying that it's not a bad news...

"We're in the hospital." Gang Tae said

"HOSPITAL? WHY? YAH GANG TAE WHAT HAPPENED?" she shouted

"GaYoung has a fever and she vomitted a while ago so I brought her here at the hospital. The doctor's checking her right now." he explained

Mun Yeong sigh and closed her eyes. "I will cancel my meeting." she said

"Ya, you don't ha'---" 

"MOON GANG TAE. HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO ATTEND THAT DAMN MEETING IF MY DAUGHTER IS SICK?" she said seriously

"MunYeong ah, she's fine now. Besides, you need to attend that meeting. She will be okay.." he stated

"Where's my son?" she asked

"Juri's mom is taking care of him now. Yah are mad? Mun Y-----"

she ended the call

Mun Yeong can't believe that Gang Tae said that the meeting is is more important that their daughter.

She called Sung Jae to reschedule her meeting. From afternoon to morning.

Gang Tae thought Mun Yeong will be back yesterday. He was surprised that she still attended the meeting. He didn't mean to sound that the meeting is more important than their daughter. But that meeting is for her own good. It was for her comeback as an author.

GaYoung is still sleeping while TaeYoung is drinking milk on his lap. He heard a car outside their house.

Mun Yeong opened the door and changed her clothes. She then entered the twin's bedroom and saw Gang Tae feeding Tae Young. She just stared at him. Meanwhile, TaeYoung recognised her and started babbling " mmmmma...mmma.ababba." while clapping his hands. Mun Yeong smiled and get him from Gang Tae's lap.

Mun Yeong checked GaYoung in her crib. She checked her forehead to see if she still have a fever. She was relieved that she doesn't have a fever anymore.

Gang Tae just watched Mun Yeong ignore him. After checking GaYoung she go outside while carrying TaeYoung.

Gang Tae sigh and followed her on the living room. He sit beside her.. 

"What did the doctor said?" she asked as she placed TaeYoung on the floor to play his dinasours toy

"The doctor said it was a viral infection. She has a poor appetite so she's also dehydrated. Don't worry she's fine now. They gave her prescription." he answered

Mun Yeong lets out a deep breathe. Gang Tae doesn't know what to do. "Mun Yeong ah, are you mad?" he asked softly. She just shakes her head. He is about to hold her hand when GaYoung started crying.

"We'll talk later." she said and stand up

After tucking the twins in their crib beside their bed, Mun Yeong lay on their bed. Gang Tae enters their bedroom after submitting requirements.

"Are you sleeping?" he asked. Mun Yeong did not answer. He placed his hands on her waist

"Are you still mad?" he said softly "I miss you." he added. Mun Yeong caress his hands. "I'm not mad." she answered

"I'm sorry if I sound like that meeting is more important that your daughter's health."

She looks at him "I understand why you said that. It's just I was so nervous and worried that something worst might happen to them while I'm away."  Gang Tae kissed her forehead "You're here now. You don't have to worry."

"Sleep. Goodnight,Mun Yeong ah" he whispered as he starts massaging her head.
