The Aftermath (COMPLETED)

mom's duties

Gang Tae will be working in Ok Hospital-again. But this time, not a caregiver but as an assistant counselor. Former Director Oh referred him. So he applied and after two interviews he got a call saying he got the position. His work schedule is MWF from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Two sessions per day.

Today is Monday, first day of work. He wakes up at 8:30 am as he set his alarm to cook breakfast. He got surprise as Mun Yeong is nowhere to be seen. He gi out of the room and see the twins sitting on their high chair.

GaYoung saw him and started shouting "appa!! appa!!" while TaeYoung said "omma,appa."

Mun Yeong is now trying to cook breakfast for all. Ever since, Gang Tae is still the one who ooks for the two of them. She only prepare foods for the twins because its easier. She heard the twins as she cuts some fruits.

Gang Tae looks surprised when he saw Mun Yeong in the kitchen wearing his shirt. "Goodmorning my babies." he said as he kissed the twins' foreheads. Then he walked towards Mun Yeong. He back hugged her "What's gotten into you?" he asked.

Mun Yeong laughed "Why? You don't like the view? I just want to try what other wives do."
Gang Tae nodded, "So what's for breakfast? I only see fruits and cereals for the kids."

Mun Yeong placed the foods on the tray and walked towards the dining table. She gave the twins their respective plates. "Come here" she said to her husband. "Don't judge me but this is the only thing I can cook-FOR NOW aside from baby meals. I promise I will practice." Then she raised the food cover.

Gang Tae looked at the table and can't help but to smiled. It's a heart shaped pancake with a lot of fruits surrounding it and ofcourse coffee. He looked at his wife who is looking worriedly. He placed his hands on her shoulder "It's been a long time since I ate pancake. Thank you. I appreciate this." Then kissed her lips.

Meanwhile, GaYoung starts to be irritated and throw her spoon. She wanted to be fed while TaeYoung is now eating by himself.

"GaYoung ah, I told you it's not nice to throw things." Mun Yeong said softly as she picked the spoon. "Go, eat." she said to Gang Tae.

Mun Yeong holds GaYoung's little hands and scoop a cereal "There. Try to eat on your own GaYoung." she said. Then she looked at TaeYoung who's eating neatly. Gang Tae laughed at his son- how ironic, TaeYoung looks like him but he acts like his mother and same as with GaYoung who looks like her mom but act like his dad. "Is it delicious?" he asked as he ruffled his son's hair but TaeYoung started to cry.

"Why? Why are you crying?" Mun Yeong heard his son while she's preparing her coffee. "What did you do?" she asked Gang Tae while hands on her hips.

"Yah! I just ruffled his hair." Gang Tae said. "Aish! He doesn't like that." she answered. "Like mother, like son." he whispered. "TaeYoung ah, dad is sorry okay? don't cry." he stated while wiping his tears.

Gang Tae noticed that Mun Yeong only drinks coffee for her breakfast. "Ahhhh" he said as he offered her a slice of pancake but she just shake her head and focus on the twins.

He is now starting to feel worried about her health- She's thin back then but now she looks thinner but still beautiful. Ever since the twins was born it looks like her life just revolves around them.  Which is somehow good but she didn't complain how hard it is to take care of the twins while he's studying and at the same time she's writing new books.

Lost in his own thoughts she tapped him "It's already 9:30. You should prepare." Then she got up and clean the table. He sighed and carry the twins and placed them in the living room.
