The Aftermath (COMPLETED)

"I clearly told you I couldn't pick up the kids today."

"I know, I know. Look, I'm sorry. I forgot." Gang Tae said.

He forgot to pick up the kids in school today. Mun Yeong just came back from Seoul because of an event.  She was about to pick the kids as her way will pass the school but due to heavy traffic, she couldn't. So she called Gang Tae about it. The twins class ends at 12 am. Gang Tae's shift will end at 3 pm. But he thinks he can still pick them up on 12 - during his break.

He was about to go when he heard a noise outside, the patients started to fight each other. He quickly runs and stopped them but they couldn't just stop. Since they only have few caregivers, the other nurses joined to stopped the fight.

When the patients have calmed down. Gang Tae helped to put first aid on their bruises. He's really drained. He took a deep breath and slumped on the chair and closed his eyes.

It was raining really hard when Mun Yeong got back home. "TaeYoung ah! GaYoung ah!" she said. No answers. She thought they where sleeping so she changed her clothes first. When she opened their bedroom, they were not there. Oh, mabe Gang Tae dropped them at Juri's house or Jae Su's restaurant since no one will watch them at home. She called Juri's mom to ask if the twins were there.

"Mun Yeong ah, they are not here. I will be happy if they come here." Juri's mom told her

"We'll visit next time. Thank you."

After that, she called Jae Su. But he told her the shop was closed today and he's not with the twins. Mun Yeong sigh. Maybe they were at the Ok Hospital.

Gang Tae's phone rung in his pocket. He fell asleep. When he woke up, it was raining hard. He saw Mun Yeong's 7 missed call. So he decided to call back...

"Why?" he said as he stretched his body

"I can't believe you let the twins come there." she said on the other line.

twins. here? he thought. then suddenly.....

He got awake instantly. He remembered he was about to pick them up. He looked at the time it was already 2:00 pm. "Oh shit" he blurted

Mun Yeong heard that, "Yah! Why?"

"No..Nothing. Yes, the kids are fine." he lied as he run quickly ignoring the nurses who asked what time is his next session.

Mun Yeong suddenly felt something wrong. "Can I talk to them?"

"No..Ah Yes, wait. Mun Yeong ah." Gang Tae was panicking

"You didn't pick them up. Didn't you?" she asked sternly.  He didn't answer so she ended the call and immediately left the house.

Gang Tae was disappointed in his self. Mun Yeong already knew. He drove fastly, hoping he would arrive first than Mun Yeong in the school.

When he got there, he suddenly got scared and nervous. He imagined what will Mun Yeong ssid to him. He lets out a deep sigh. Mun Yeong was already walking inside without an umbrella.

Mun Yeong went to find the twins on the waiting area, there were few kids playing there. She roamed her eyes and saw them playing in the rain. He blood started to boil. They were not allowed to play in the rain because the first time they did it with their dad, they got colds and fever the next day.
