Days turned into weeks after the incident and it was already a New Year but it wasn't like the rest maybe to only me and the Adigheji's,she hasn't still woken up,her family spent the entire Christmas holiday at the hospital praying and hoping that she would wake up but she didn't,her eyes were still shut tight,they laughed and even spoke about old good memories but she didn't still budge,I was there on Christmas day with them to cheer Mason up,he was a total mess,he always acted like he didn't care about his sister since according to Michelle,he was a tyrant,always bossing people around,he was pretty good at hiding his caring personality,it was the first time and year that she missed Christmas and it was because of that four lettered word called LOVE,okay let me rephrase that it was because she was shown LOVE by the wrong person,speaking of Lucas and his female sidekick,they had kept their distance from her well maybe they didn't want to receive another beating of their life.

It was the fourth day of the New Year,I walked into the hospital and went straight to her room,I opened the door hoping that I would find her seated on her bed waiting for to be discharged but nothing like that happened,she still laid on her bed,the room dead quiet,I could only hear the sound of the ventilator,I sat on the chair next to her bed,she looked beautiful even in coma.

"Hey muffin,I'm here and guess what I brought your favourites and amongst your them is your favourite favourites, Chocolate icecream,if you don't believe me then you can open your eyes and see"I spoke to her as if she was awake.

This isn't going to work

"You know you haven't wished me Happy New year infact you didn't wish me Merry Christmas,wow,first time I didn't hear you scream Merry Christmas in my ears and it was all because of...."I paused,I didn't want to mention his name.

"If only you had believed me but anyways that's not important,how are you doing? Don't mind me,that's a stupid question,okay,how is it over there?"

"Nevermind"

"You know that time when you,Mason and I were so close,infact we were best-friends,they called us the Three Musketeers, we were so carefree,we didn't give a fuck about anybody or anything and you,you were the most stubborn and naughtiest amongst us"

"Like that one time,you kept drugs in our food so we could sleep then when we woke up,you had designed our faces with makeup,Mason was pissed and you laughed at our reactions"

"Or the time when I broke my leg and I had to be on wheelchair for weeks anytime I tried to mess with you,you would roll me like we were in a wheelchair race just to teach me a lesson,that was scary"

"Or that time when we all went out to buy food from a high class restaurant,Mason refused to buy anything,he claimed that he wanted to use his money for something else,when we got home,you said you forgot to buy something,Typical Mason didn't want to go out so we had to go alone,when we got back,he finished the whole food we bought and then we gave him the beating of his life,he received punches from my side and slaps from your side and he ended up buying us back our food..."

I sighed,"Everything was so perfect and amazing for us but then I grew distant from you,I changed completely when we got to senior secondary,as they say every action has a reason for it,I had a reason,I realized that you had a huge crush on me and with person I had become,a Playboy,Mason wouldn't even let me date you and at that I didn't even have feelings for you,if it was any other girl I would play them but I couldn't bring myself to fake my feelings for you so we could date so I decided to stay away maybe the crush would die off"

"Luckily it did die off but then again it came back.....I decided not to be distant anymore so I started covering up the time we stayed away from each other and I did that by flirting with you and by annoying the shit out of you maybe in that way I would fall for you....I know I have hurt you multiple times and I shouldn't be forgiven for all the horrible things I have done to you...for the past two years anytime you tried to start a conversation with me,I shunned you,you tried to come close,I stepped back,I made you feel invisible and I'm deeply sorry..."
