Elle
Julia and I were laying on the beach in our bikinis, doing homework for classes. I let out a deep sigh as I looked over at her through my sunglasses.
"What's up?" She asks, looking over at me, stopping the typing on her keyboard.
"I'm at a loss, Jul. I mean, not really a loss, maybe it's a win," I breathe out and close my textbook and notebook. "Parker and I had such a great time the other night and I feel uneasy about it. I think it was good that we were honest with each other, but I am also worried about the situation."
"Elle, you two are just messing around. Don't let it get to you too much just yet. I think you're thinking too much into it. So, what if you two fall in love? What's so bad about that?"
"I guess nothing is really wrong with falling in love. I just hate to think about it. Love just freaks me out," I admit, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "You're right, I shouldn't think too much into it. If it doesn't bother Parker then it shouldn't bother me, right?"
"Right, I think that's a good way to look at it. Just have fun, let loose. It seems like you already are and I think it's really good for you," Julia reaches over, patting me on the shoulder blade. "Speaking of fun, are you coming to Brice's party tonight?"
I let out a small laugh, replying, "Brice is having another party? I swear, he has nothing better to do with his life."
"Well, are you coming or not? Parker's probably going to be there again too," Julia wiggles her eyebrows at me, smirking.
I could feel the blush creeping across my cheeks, "fine, I'll go."
"Good, now let's go get ready. Henry has been craving to see me in my new top," she winks and gets up from her towel in one swift motion.

Slipping into a pair of ripped light-washed jeans, I clasp the button and take a look at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a black lace body suit, my bra underneath matching and then my jeans and a pair of white Vans. Julia had coaxed me into wearing something more revealing and 'sexy,' since Parker would be there.
She was wearing a really short dress that stopped right above her mid-thigh. It was a beautiful maroon color and it fit perfectly to her figure. I exited my closet and met with her in my room, watching as she glided on a coat of lip gloss.
"You look like a hot piece of ass, Elle," she gushed, turning around to fully face me.
"Right back at ya, girlfriend," I reply, winking her way. The two of us share a laugh and grab our phones before exiting my bedroom. My dad was out with some of his work friends tonight, which was nice because he hardly took any time for himself. He worked a lot and sure, he spent time with me at home, but he hardly ever went out with friends. I was thankful he had people here other than me.
Julia drove us to Brice's and we sang along, obnoxiously, to the radio on our way. Once we made it to Brice's, we made our way up to his house. There were strobe lights out back that could be seen from the front of the house. I knew Brice's neighbors didn't mind his parties, because they weren't very close in distance. For being in California, his parents chose a great area to build their home.
They had a decent amount of property and the house sat back from the road. Like I mentioned before, he came from a rich family and they had plenty of money to go around.
I walked through the front door with Julia, making our way into the foyer area before heading into the kitchen. There were more people here than last time, bodies on top of bodies in every room, but thankfully, the back yard was so huge that many people could just chill out there away from others. I grabbed a drink from the counter, clinking the glass with Julia's before taking a drink.
