I gripped Elle's hand in mine as we walked through the crowd of people. She glanced over at me, a grin spreading across her face and color rising to her cheeks. I shot her a quick wink before we made it to the back door, releasing her hand from mine. Even though many people weren't paying attention to the two of us, I still didn't want Elle to get caught up in any drama by being with me.

"I'll see you later, beautiful. Stay out of trouble," I say, smiling down at her.

"See you," Elle replies before exiting through the back door of the house and out of sight.

I turn on my heels to go and find the guys. Hanson, our dealer, shot me a text while I was enjoying my time with Elle. He had some things for us and we needed to go collect them. I quickly spot Ben and then soon after, the two of us go to find Demetri. Ivy wasn't with him tonight because she had to work, so thankfully it would just be the three of us making the trip over.

"We just got here man, I don't want to leave yet," Ben gushed, looking at me with his red-rimmed eyes.

"We have more weed in the car, ass hat. Hanson texted me, let's go," I state, making my way to the front door and opening it, stepping out into the California heat. The guys follow behind me as we make our way to my car. The three of us get in and I put my car in drive, heading in the direction of Hanson's house.

"Do you think he actually has anything good this time?" Demetri asked, fumbling with a blunt in his hands.

I shrug my shoulders, shifting my car and looking straight forward. "He's apparently needing us for something. I'm honestly not sure. I don't think he has any drugs for us, but he might. I told him we were good for the time being, but he Insisted on us stopping by."

Demetri nods his head to the music, lighting the blunt and taking a hit before passing it back to Ben. I shake my head at the two of them and continue on my path, making a left and heading towards Hanson's. I tap my thumbs against the steering wheel and shift my car again, a few minutes later, pulling into Hanson's driveway.

The three of us step out of my car and walk up to the front door. I knock my knuckles three times on the door and then wait a second and knock two more times. It was some weird code thing that Hanson asks us to do when entering so he knows who it is. The door swings open and Hanson's hit man, Jameson stands there looking at the three of us.

"It's been a hot fucking minute hasn't it, Kingston? Come on in," he says, stepping to the side and letting the three of us in. The door shuts behind us and I turn to face Jameson, sticking my hand out and doing our quick little handshake we came up with years ago. He shoots me a grin and says hi to Ben and Demetri as well.

I've known Hanson for years. He's five years older than me, but we grew up around each other after I moved out here. He took me under his wing and helped me out quite a bit while I was still in high school. He's not always been the best guy and I don't trust him fully, especially after the drugs he supplied Ben that one time, but he didn't mean any harm. Like I said before, he can't be trusted, but he was there for me when most people weren't so I feel as if I owe him something still.

"He's downstairs waiting on you guys," Jameson states, nodding towards the basement door.

"Thanks man," I reply, heading towards the door with the guys. We make our way down the stairs and into the furnished basement. Hanson was sitting on the suede couch, putting a line of coke on the table in front of him, cutting it up with a razor blade. I cleared my throat and he turned to look at us, a smirk on his face.
