it's January already. time were both slow and fast for us. sooner or later, the day we've all been waiting will finally take place. the day that we both feared and anticipated, our debut day.

i can't believe that we're really doing this and that as our preparation for debut. we've finished filming the mv and the prologue film, the latter being posted just recently. 

we're still up because we're waiting for the prologue film to be seen by the people and 'cause we're working hard together with the staff and all. yes, ITZY. that's our group's name.

it originated from a korean phrase 'itji'  that means 'there is', 'have it', or 'got it'; meaning we have what u want in a group. it might be preposterous or ambitious but we believe that we really do and can bring that to our soon-to-be fans, which i hope will have a name also.

we've all been working hard ever since and will still do for many years to come as ITZY if we receive lots of love from the crowd, especially since we're from JYP and it's in the Big 3.

when we say the pressure upon us is no joke, it really is. but then, we try not to feel it and just enjoy the process, with discipline of course. 

so right now, we're just lurking around the internet for comments, opinions, articles, literally any insights about us. we'll be resting later so, maybe reading some words can boost us tomorrow.

"ITZY?" pd-nim called out from the door, causing us to stand up.

"oh, pd-nim. what brings u here?" Yeji asked politely.

"nothing much, just gonna remind u girls to rest so u can do more the next day." 

"oh, don't worry pd-nim. we're just gonna check the articles first." Ryeong said.

"okay, good. but whatever u read, focus on working on ur debut." he encouraged.

"ne, pd-nim~" we said, he smiled and nodded before leaving us here in the dance room.

"yah, Chaer! they recognized u instantly, look!" Lia unnie said, making us look at our phones.

"unnie, they're praising u're patience and dedication!" Yuna said happily, making us nod.

it's true, Ryeong started at an early age and growing up dreams change, but not hers.

"what can they say? our Ryeongie is the best." i smiled at her, she reciprocated appreciatively.

"yah, Shin Yuna! u're being praised for ur facial features, seems like no one remembers ur cameo for BTS sunbaenim's video." i teased her.

 she's embarrassed of her pale appearance and the memory of her line slowly being removed at every take of her scene. but it's fun teasing her so, she just have to deal with it.

"yah, don't bring that up!" she huffed in annoyance, making me laugh.

"yah...yah! Yeddeong, they're acknowledging ur familiarity!" i said excitedly.

"well i did get to be seen on tv for a few times so." Yeji smiled.

"yeah u did! they must be ur loyal fans, they're saying ur their bias and excited for ITZY Yeji." i said happily, more like proud of her.

she beat herself up from time to time after 'The Fan', we're happy that she finally got over it. 

"ooohhh, old Shin! *ehem* looks like ur fangirls also recognized u, apparently still not over u." Yuna smirked at me. oh no, don't use that as payback. Yeji don't like girls being all over me.
