it's been 10 years since we debuted. wow, it feels surreal that we've actually got this far in our career. we broke records after records unexpectedly, along with the support of our ever so loving Midzys.

some of our sunbaenims have retired already, some stayed, and new groups came. there are also a few that started their own companies, take Kpop's power couples for example- SeulRene, JenLisa, 2Yeon, MoonSun, NamJin, etc. it's amazing how Korea opened up so much in the last 10 years that couples like us get to freely express ourselves.

of course as 10 yr old idols, means that we're now seniors and our juniors are respectful so there's no problem.

wow, we were just rookies before. we're actually seniors now. it feels like it's all of us are just in a dream, are we really celebrating our 10th anniversary today?

a lot has changed actually, in Korea and all over the world. Kpop is has been introduced by our seniors so much in their time that it helped us get widely recognized all over the world.

sure there are still people who dislikes Kpop or us, but do they matter? no, we've got Midzys.

we've thought of retiring a few times in all honesty but no, we're still going. we love what we're doing, we chose this, so why stop?

not because we're popular, rich, or something, means that we've had enough so let's settle down. we'll keep being idols for as long as we can. we'll keep being Itzy for as long as a single Midzy exists. we'll keep being the inspiration of various people from around the world. we're not backing down yet.

if u're wondering what is happening at this very moment that i'm briefly telling about what happened in the last 10 years, it's concert day.

we've had a small showcase tour before but now, we've had world tours. we've performed on different stages in lots of arenas and stadiums. but today is particularly something memorable, considering the anniversary.

we're performing on Coachella. like Blackpink sunbaenim, we're given the chance to perform here. this must be like our 4th time already.

like i said it's Coachella, so a LOT will be here. i think we're never gonna get used to it, it's overwhelming everytime people of different cultures and races jam to us.

"Ryu, just one more song and it's our turn." Ryeong called me by the door of the RV.

so i stood up and walked with her, the 3 must be at backstage already.

we got there and i was right, Yulia was being subtly soft by holding hands while Lia unnie's latching onto Yuna's arm.

then i saw her, the breathtaking angel whom is standing with her back against me while tucking her hair behind the ear only to run through it again, a thing she does when nervous. i know her too well to not know.

i must've stopped because Ryeong needed to slightly shout my name for me to notice that there's like a 2 meter gap between us.

"c'mon!" she said so i rushed to her 'til we reached our members.

i'm not gonna be subtle like Yulia, i have my signature ways. my famous backhug. one that every Midzy is all too familiar with.

"don't be nervous, i'm here Yeddeong." i backhugged her, startling her a bit before she hugged my arms around her waist.

"i know, thank u Ryuddaeng." she leaned her head against my head for a second before we let go to just hold hands.

"Itzy, u're next." a crewman came and gave our mics. we went to the stage as the lights are off.

a few seconds later, an intro from our very first song played. this is it, let's do this.

"ITZY! MIDZY! NALJA!" we cheered before we go to our positions.

the lights turned on and-

"MISS US, COACHELLA?" i started to hype them up and screams were heard.

it always feels good to perform what u love.

we were just dreamers that met and strived together, but now we can finally say-

WE MADE IT.

I MADE IT WITH HER, MY YEDDEONG.
