Win's POV:"What is it?" The person asked and I noticed how his voice didn't sound harsh nor annoyed at all which honestly shocked me a little. No person would never not be annoyed if someone were to stop them in the middle of their destination.
But I was desperate for help. I can't hold it any longer.
"Can you help me find a washroom here?" I asked in a small voice to the stranger. It was a little embarrassing if you would ask me and I could feel the sweat on my forhead as I waited for a response.
"Sure." The person replied and i could faintly see them turning around to face me properly. I definitely looked past their shoulders or atleast I believe it was their shoulder with my crappy vision.
"Thankyou so much." I smiled, relieved that someone was willing to help me after all. I was about to say something when the stranger cut me off.
"Grab my arm." This confused yet surprised me at the same time. No one has ever offered their arm to me for support without me actually asking for it. Most of the time, people can't even make out that I'm blind and need assistance. "C'mon grab it, I will guide you to the nearest washroom."
Whoever this person was, they sure had a voice with authority in it. Though I didn't really feel bad about it because it doesn't seem like he's ordering me or anything. His voice sounds very firm.
"Oh how'd you know?" I questioned the stranger but reached out my hand to grab their elbow nonetheless. It's already been late and I really need to use the bathroom as soon as I can. "Thankyou." I smiled when I felt the stranger help me grab their elbow and they started to guide me through the sidewalk.
"What's your name?" The stranger suddenly broke the silence. I thought this guy would be the type of person who wouldn't want to have a small conversation with me so I stayed silent against my will. I turned my head to where his voice was coming from. I hope I was facing him. "I'm Bright." He told me.
"Oh I'm Win Metawin." I smiled again, squeezing just a little bit harder onto Bright's elbow in a way of showing acknowledgement. This was how I always showed acknowledgement.
I could see the face muscles stretching on his face too and this time I wasn't unsure if the person was smiling or frowning at me. I immediately knew he was smiling at me, who was holding onto his elbow.
He spoke up again after a while, "Do you want me to help you in the washroom too?" I could hear the teasing tone. Is this guy joking?
"Huh?" Bright chuckled at my dumbfounded face. I can definitely use the bathroom by myself. I have been doing that for years now. "No, it's okay I can help myself with my own zipper." That wasn't really a nice way to respond but I was really really at my wit's end at this point.
I could hear him chuckling again but he continued to guide me as promised.
"Here you go." We stopped right infront of some hard surface and I was sure it was the public washroom. Thankgod we made it.
"Thankyou so much!" I exclaimed and just as I was about to hurry inside or well atleast try to, Bright stopped me. Thankyou to him again because if he didn't stop me by pulling my arm, I would have collided onto the brick wall.
"I'll guide you inside." He said breathlessly. Damn, this guy is really doing the angel's work here. I think I'll need to treat him to something now for helping me so much.
He guided me inside the bathroom and I thanked him again before hurrying inside an empty stall, which again he located for me too.
Let me tell you how amazing it feels to finally let go. Okay I won't actually do that because it's gross but like the sense of relief is something else.
