Win's POV:
"That's not how you play it, Khet!" Bright's voice boomed out across the whole club room. I was sitting near Love, in my usual bench, calculating the expenses as the band members practiced.
I still couldn't figure out the song they were practicing because they never played it in the club room when everyone was there. What's so secretive about a song anyway?
"Can you just stop looking so dead and focus in playing your damn instrument?" His voice sounded very tired and I couldn't help but worry about him. He shouldn't let this stress him out so much.
I turned to where Love was sitting beside me and extended my hand to tug on her cardigan. "How do they look like right now?"
"Who?" She questioned me, her voice uncertain as she grabbed my hand which was tugging on her cardigan.
"The members..." I replied to her, "Bright."
Love made a sound before I felt her body shuffle beside me. "He looks stressed, I can see the veins in his forehead and oh my god-"
"What is it?" I knew I shouldn't be like this but I can't help but worry about this person. Did something happen? I can't hear them talking again.
"He's hot." Love replied to me, a giggle following behind her words as I just sat dumbly infront of her. I was so ready to hit her with my cane but I didn't. "Stop looking at me like that, I just said that to see your reaction."
"What reaction?" I whined, tugging harshly on her cardigan making her yelp. "Why?"
"I just wanted to see how you'd react if someone calls your crush hot-" I tugged on her cardigan again, this time with more force and then I heard a thud. Did she fall down? "What the hell, Win? That hurt."
"He's not my crush." Pretty sure my whining was annoying, but so were her words to me. She scoffed at my words, her hand swatting mine away from her cloth, "You say that and then you two are always together."
I slumped in my seat, too tired to argue with her at this point. But then I felt her hand pat my shoulder lightly, as if she was trying to comfort me. "Don't beat yourself up, having a crush isn't bad." She started, before adding the next line with a giggle, "And if it's Bright..." She lowly whistled, "It's probably the best thing to do."
I made a face at her words, hitting her side with my cane lightly, "Shut up."
"What are you guys talking about?" It was Bright who has asked the question to us. I didn't even hear him walk up to where we were. I turned towards my right where Love was sitting, motioning with my hands and whispering not to say anything stupid but she beat me to it anyway. "About Win having a crush on you-"
"No!" I denied quickly, hitting her side with my cane again before she could finish her words, "We are not."
"Ouch, Win-" Love yelped in pain and then I felt her presence leave from beside me, probably standing up to leave the place. "I'm leaving oh my god."
Bright chuckled at us, as I listened to her footsteps leaving and his nearing me. I felt him sit where Love was sitting before I felt the cold wood of his guitar hitting my elbow. "You need to stop attacking people with your cane."
"Do you know why blind people are given canes to carry with them?" I questioned him.
"From what I learnt in my classes..." He started, I could hear the confidence and smile in his voice, "It's given to visually impaired people to navigate their surroundings and also to let other people know that they're blind."
