"Y/N!" Hinata shouted from a lunch table. You sighed to yourself and quickly approached the table. "Don't yell my name, it draws attention, Hinata!" You bent down and sat at the end of the table, next to Tsukishima...the only seat open.
"Are you like, an introvert?" Hinata cocked his head. You took out your homemade lunch and chopsticks. "Not really, I just don't want people staring at me."
"Oh, well, we've brought the rest of the team! Everyone introduce yourselves!" Hinata cheered. You looked up as each boy said their names.
"Daichi Sawamara! Third year!"
"Third year, Kōshi Sugawara, but you can call me Suga!"
"A-Asahi Azumane, and I'm a third year."
"Second year, Yū Nishinoya, but Noya is fine!"
"Ryūnosuke Tanaka! Second year!"
"Hi guys." You smiled before breaking your chopsticks in half. "So how's your first day going?" Suga asked, poking his straw into his milk carton. You exhaled.
"Terrible since I'm in the same class as bean pole-" You let out a yelp and turned to Tsukishima, who just poked you in the side with his fingers. "Told you not to call me nicknames."
"Doesn't mean I'll listen." You hissed, picking up a rice ball.
"So, y/n, what's it like living with Coach? Is it weird?" Noya asked excitedly. You hummed. "Not really, since he is my uncle. He smokes to much though, so that annoys me."
"So you skipped the first half of your first year?" Hinata asked with his mouth full. You nodded your head. "Sort of, I haven't been in school since 6th grade. I was doing online and self-teaching."
"Woah, really? How come?" Suga fiddled with his food. You shrugged.
"I don't like people, I guess." You lied, hoping they wouldn't ask any further questions.
Throughout lunch, you got to know the team. In fact, you were actually really enjoying yourself.
Suddenly, everything went black.
