THE LEAK

Part 4

I woke up feeling heavy. Parang masusuka na hindi. Hindi ko na alam ang nararamdaman ko.

"Drink."

Mula sa pagkakapikit ay napadilat ako ng wala sa oras hanggang sa napansin kong wala ako sa quarters.

"I got you..." He cleared his throat. "...hindi muna kita pwedeng iuwi sa area niyo since pinag-iinitan ka ng itaas. I have to make things clearer before you walk in the way."

Napakurap nalang ako sa kaniya. He's kneeling in front me while I am sitting at the side of the bed holding the glass of water he gave me.

Napalunok ako nang mamataang nakatingin pa din siya sa akin.

He then closed his eyes. He bowed down looking problematically. Then, stood up. Hands on his hips.

Habang ako ay gulong nakatingin sa kaniya at pilit na ininom ang tubig na binigay niya. It taste different.

I held the glass up. Kapantay sa mga mata ko. There were blue liquids floating.

My brows furrowed.

"What's this?" Ano, lalasunin ba niya ako?!
He just shifted his eyes on me. Tinapunan ko ito ng tingin.

"What?" I told him when he just looked at me.

"It's a medicine." He simply said and turned his back at me to sit down on the nearest chair in his room.

Hindi ko pa din binibitawan ang mapang-usisang tingin. Sa baso at sa kaniya.

Nang makita yata niya na hindi ko iniinom ang binigay niya ay tinaasan ako nito ng kilay.

He comfortably sat in the chair where there was a blue coat cleanly folded at its arm.

He played his lips, intently looking at me. I cleared my throat when I felt unconscious because of his stare.

His place was spacious. The wall are painted in earthy colors kaya maganda sa mata.

I looked away but beforehand I don't know if it was hallucination or what but I saw how the side of his lips rose simply.

"Drink it. Are you thinking I'm gonna poison you?" He chuckled. Imbis na ma-offend ng kaunti ay tila humanga pa ako sa pagtawa nito.

It was a deep.

I bit my lower lip to stop myself for further talking.

I stood up. He raised his brow at me.

"Where ya goin'?"

"Ahm..." I cleared my throat when it came out like a whisper or what.

He chuckled again.

"No need to feel uneasy within my vicinity. Hmm?" I gritted my teeth after hearing his 'hmm'. Batet ang gwapo?!

Tell me?! Hustisya please!

"I want to stroll." By then, I looked at his veranda. I think he lived in an old building since his veranda seems like ruined.

There was a sliding door, though. Taka ko namang tinignan ang labas nito.

Wala sa sariling napahakbang ako papalapit dito when I noticed something.
