The Code

I grasped the metal bars firmly with both hands as the TARDIS continued to jitter and bounce.

Luckily, we landed not long after with a holt and the Master hastily waltzed up to clamp my hands back to the bars again.

"Oh come on." I huffed. "You just undid them."

"Just safety precautions dear." He murmured. "In case the Doctor decides to drag you away with some rope before I get my code."

He then ran up to check his holographic map again. We were on some sort of alien planet. The red dot I assumed was the Doctor, as the Master was staring it down intensely.

"Stay here." The Master ordered and then paced over to the exit. But before he could turn the handle, the doors suddenly slammed open.

"Hiya Yaz! Sorry for all the trouble. You know, making you wait with....him." The Doctor babbled, breathlessly. "I'll try and make it up to you. How about....I bake a cake for you, afterwards? Maybe not bake it though, probably buy. I can't really do baking. Could try but.....might end in tears."

The Doctor stepped further in towards me as the Master banged the door shut with a fury.

"Do you have the code, Doctor? Or are you just here to annoy everyone. Because you're not on the Cyberman ship anymore." He grumped. "We're on a disused planet for some unknown reason."

"Yeah I know, truly amazing observational skills you have, Master." She mused sarcastically.

He sighed in regret of his words. "Just answer the question."

"What question?"

"The code, Doctor."

"What about it?"

"HAVE YOU GOT IT? FOR GOD'S SAKE?!" The Master shouted.

I gulped a little. She was making him angry, and I wasn't quite sure why.

The Doctor breathed out. "Yes, I have your code to access the Cyberman weapons."

The Master propped his head up. "Let's see it then."

She slowly put her hand out to show a small, blue card with a long list of numbers and letters inscribed on it.

The Master looked at her warily before snatching it from her palm.

"Now let Yaz go." The Doctor sterned.

He glanced at the Doctor for a moment and then over to me as if to say goodbye.
I smiled contently as he chucked the keys lazily over to the Doctor.

She grabbed them and instantly began shuffling in a hurry to unlock me. "Come oooon, come on." She panted.

Clank.

"Yes!" She gasped.

The cuffs dropped down and I leaped into the Doctor's arms and hug her tightly.

She was as warm as a soft bear and I felt I could stay in her arms all day.

"It's okay, it's okay. I'm here now. Don't worry." She muttered.

My eyes then met the Masters, he quickly glanced down when he saw me looking.

I felt a sudden tug in my heart. He seemed conflicted and lost. Even a bit hurt or jealous by me embracing the Doctor. I couldn't quite read him.

"We need to leave. Like now." The Doctor said abruptly.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked, letting go.

"Well the Master now has Cyberman weaponry which I assume won't be for a fun party. Actually, did he tell you what he was planning to do with it?"

I thought back, trying to remember. No he hadn't.
"He said something about the weapon being able to blow up a planet with one blast but...."

"I'm going to destroy the weapon." The Master announced out of nowhere.

Our heads turned slowly to him.

"Yes Doctor, you're very welcome." He grinned.

"Pfffttt yeah right." The Doctor scoffed in disbelief. "You're not going to destroy it. You're going to use it for your own personal gain."

"Oh yeah you'd like to believe that wouldn't you?" The Master snapped back.

"I do...because it's the truth."

"No! You're just stuck in this thought that everything that comes out of my mouth is a lie." He stated. "But I want to prove you wrong."

"Fine." The Doctor huffed. "Off you go then. Destroy the card and prove...."

Suddenly a rumble erupted around the TARDIS and a robotic monotone voice spoke.

"RETURN WITH THE CODE NOW."
