WARNING: Blood and gore.

The frequent bumps on the road slowly managed to wake El up from her deep sleep. As she slowly gained her senses, she realized that she wasn't only in a moving van, but her hands and legs were tied up, and she had some sort of weird, dirty cloth in her mouth.

Panic immediately kicked in, and she started stomping and throwing her body onto the walls of the trunk she was in, desperately trying to get the attention of any people walking by.

After a few minutes, she came to the realization that she was probably in a remote location with no people, so there was no one there to save her. She sat in the corner of the trunk, and slowly let her head hang low, letting all her hopes of being saved fade away.

Suddenly, she heard a loud banging noise from the front of the van, followed by a deep voice:

"You better be quiet back there girl, or else we're leaving you for the wolves!"

El let out a loud grunt, and another bang followed

"Shut up or else you won't get to see your little family again, got that, little shit?"

El immediately kept quiet after that, afraid that the people driving the van; whoever they were, would actually leave her out in the cold to die.

She figured that if no one could save her, she had to save herself. She slowly closed her eyes and focused all her energy to her power, attempting to break the handcuffs around her wrists.

She tried again and again, until the cloth around her mouth was stained with shades of dark red and brown from all the blood that trickled down her nose.

El was helpless. She was in the back of a van driving to God knows where, with no people to distract so they could help her, and without her powers. She slowly lowered her head to her knees, and let her tears mix with the blood on the cloth.

Half an hour later, the van stopped, and El heard the two front doors open. She slowly opened her eyes and  lazily looked around, realizing she was still in the van. Suddenly, the back doors opened, and two men pulled her out of the trunk.

"Wake up princess, your castle awaits.", one of them said with a chuckle, as they each grabbed one of El's arms and pulled her towards the huge building in front of them.

As El slowly lifted her head up, her whole body shivered in terror. The building was identical to the one she had been locked up in all her life, except it was bigger. Way bigger.

One of the men let go of her arm to type in the passcode for the doors to open. Next thing she knew, El was tied to a chair, in a dimly lit room, when the door opened.

A tall, thin man walked in, and El immediately froze in her place.
"P-Papa..?", she managed to whisper.

"Well well, if it isn't the Hawkins superhero." Richard Brenner spoke in a stern voice, sliding a chair over to El, and sitting on it backwards, resting his arms on ths back of the chair. El could clearly see his face now. He looked just like Dr. Brenner, only younger, with brown hair and striking grey eyes.

"As you may have guessed, no, I'm not 'Papa'. But, I think I can be a good replacement, right? Jane, is it?" He asked, raising his eyebrows with a smirk.

"Don't call me that. Let me go home." El said through her teeth, her brows furrowed.

"I'm afraid I can't do that. You see, you're very important to me. To my research. Recently, a couple... 'subjects' went savage and killed most of my scientists. We're trying to figure out the cause of this, and we thought you might have something to do with it, since you can communicate with other dimensions." Richard continued, his eyes piercing through the girl in front of him.

"I've got nothing to do with your stupid experiments! Please, let me go, my family needs me!" El said, in a pleading tone.

Before she could say anything else, the man had kicked his chair away, pulled out a pocket knife, and placed it on El's neck. His gaze wasn't calm and controlled anymore; he was a different person.

"Listen to me good, you brat. You killed my father and got away with it. You took away my family, so I'm gonna do the same to you. I don't care how much you plead, how much you cry or how loud you scream, I'm going to let you rot in here, until I get justice for my father."
Richard said between his teeth. His eyes were glimmering from rage, and his forehead was shining under the light of the room.

"Papa deserved to die. He kidnapped children and used them for experiments. He didn't care if they had families or friends. He was a selfish psychopath, and so are you." El said, looking him dead in the eyes.

"Shut up, or else I'll slice your throat open, bitch."

"Truth hurts, doesn't it?"

At that moment, Richard took the knife away from El's neck, and grabbed her right wrist, were the number "011" had been tattooed.

"You wanna get out of here? Fine, let me give you a souvenir from your trip.." He muttered with a twisted grin, as the tip of his knife touched El's skin.

The girl's screams filled the room, and moments later, El was unconscious in her chair, with her wrist turned over. Her entire arm was covered in blood and bruises, and her small "011" tattoo had been replaced with a much bigger one across her arm. Only this time, it wasn't ink.

This time, it was her own flesh.
