"This is a Code Red, I repeat, a Code Red! Everyone evacuate to the panic rooms! This is not a drill!"

The same message echoed throughout the lab, and the halls filled with panicked scientists trying to get to safety as soon as possible.

A tall, young man in a suit calmly made his way to the lab's Observation Room, completely oblivious of the chaos around him.

As soon as he pushed the door and stepped foot in the room, the people in it immediately stood up and faced him, as if his presence alone could intimidate them.

"Sir Richard, we weren't expecting you at such a.. short notice..?", one of the scientists in the room said fearfully, fiddling with his fingers.

The young man looked at the scientist, and he felt like his stare had pierced through his body.

"I came as soon as I could, Brown. And, by the way, it's Dr. Brenner. For all of you.", the man said, glancing at the rest of the scientists in the room, who immediately lowered their heads.

"O-Of course, Dr. Brenner, sir!" Brown said, and stepped aside for the man to look at the multiple screens in front of them.

"So, what seems to be the problem?" Brenner said, looking through the security footage.

"W-Well, as you saw for yourself, many of the monsters we experiment on escaped, sir. They went savage all of a sudden, we aren't sure what caused it." Brown said.

"Any signs of this behavior earlier this week?" Brenner said, not taking his eyes off the screens.

"No, sir, we lost control of them out of nowhere, from one minute to the next, they had gone mad."

Brenner smashed his hands onto the desk, and before Brown could finish his sentence, he had grabbed his coat, and had pulled him nose to nose with him. His eyes were glowing with rage, and his eyebrows were twitching.

"Listen here, you good-for-nothing bag of flesh. My father died because of those beasts out there, and everyone in this room knows who's responsible for the chaos that's going on outside this room. So don't act stupid, and fix this damn mess, or you'll face the consequences. Am I clear?"

"C-Crystal, sir!" Brown said, barely able to breathe.

Brenner let go of the man, and went for the door.

"Find the girl, and bring her here, alive. You have one week."

With that, Brenner stepped out of the room, and calmly walked out of the building.

The scientists immediately locked the door to ensure their safety, and contacted their agents.

"Alright gentlemen, time for some action." Brown spoke into the radio.

"Find Dr. Brenner's subject, and bring her back alive. Target number 011."

As soon as Joyce closed the front door, a very panicked Hopper ran towards her.

"Joyce, thank God you're back, something happened, something very serious, and I don't know what to do, I really need your help-"

"Woah, slow down Hop! What happened?" she asked, moving to the living room and sitting on the couch.
"Take a deep breath, and tell me everything."

Hopper followed her to the couch and sat down, taking a deep breath, which resulted in him nearly choking on thin air.

"Okay, okay, not that deep." Joyce giggled, patting him on the back. "What's going on?"

"M-Murray called, he said it was an emergency, I asked what was wrong, and.."

"And?" Joyce was getting more and more worried. What nonsense had Murray told Hopper that made him freak out like that?

"El, she's in danger. He didn't tell me exactly what's going on, but I think it's pretty serious."

Joyce was dumbfounded. What else does the universe have in store for her family. She felt like they couldn't ever get a rest.

"I- Do we have to go to Murray's?" she asked, the words slowly coming out of her mouth.

At that exact moment, they both heard a knock on the door.

"I don't think that's necessary." Hopper said, as the pair got up and rushed to the door.
