"Cellular cohesion will take a few hours, but we can initiate the conscious stream." Dr. Helen explained as she connected Ultron to the cradle. "We're uploading your cerebral matrix now."
As Wanda walked in she could sense the powerful presence of the stone in the cradle. She could sense the cradles programs or dreams.
Wanda stepped closer to the cradle. "I can read him. He's dreaming."
Dr. Helen corrects Wanda. "I wouldn't call it dreams. It's Ultron's base consciousness. Information noise. Soon..." Ultron interrupts her. "How soon? I'm not being pushy."
Wanda steps up to the cradle, putting her hands on it as Doctor Chou explains. "We're imprinting a physical brain. There are no short cuts. Even if your magic gem..."
Everything goes silent as Wanda tried to read the cradle's thought or dreams. When she does, Wanda saw a rock hit the earth and destroy it. She lets go and screams in fear, breathing heavily as her siblings come quickly to her side.
Wanda's breathes shakily as her brother grabs her shoulders and turns her to face him. Pietro's hands cupping her face as he asks her what's wrong.
Wanda looks at him and her sister, fear coursing through her as she looks around.
Her eyes finally land on Ultron, the look of betrayal in her eyes. "How could you?" She asks her voice slightly breaking.
Ultron just nonchalantly asks. "How could I what?"
"You said we would destroy the avengers, make a better world." Wanda says as her siblings looked at her confused and wondering what was going on.
"It will be better." Ultron reassured her.
All of the siblings look at him as realization hits Lorna. "When everyone is dead?"
Wanda wraps her arms around Lorna as Ultron tried to explain himself. "That's not... The human race will have every opportunity to improve."
Pietro turns around to face Ultron. "And if they don't?"
"Ask Noah."
"You are a madman." Wanda says in disbelief.
"There were more than a dozen extinction level events. Before even dinosaurs got theirs. When the earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it. And believe me, he's winding up. We have to evolve. There's no room for the weak." Ultron justifies his actions.
Ultron touches the cradle and while he's not looking, Wanda removes the mind control from Dr. Helen, using Lorna's back to hide the magic.
