Chapter 2

Link's POV

"Now that's how it's done!" I said to the kids as I reeled in a fish.

Ilia, Colin, Beth, Talo, and Malo were there watching me reel it in.

"Ooh! Ooh! Can I try? PLEEEAAASEEE??" Talo pleaded me.

I handed Talo his fishing rod and he started fishing.

"I'm gonna catch the bi-"

"Talo, You won't catch any if you keep talking." Ilia whispered.

"Right." Talo whispered back.

We all focused on the fish swimming closer to the rod. It started bobbing up and down until it was pulled completely under.

"REEL IT IN! REEL IT IN!" Beth squealed.

I watched Talo reeling in the fish rapidly. The fish fought back. He kept reeling it in rapidly, until it escaped.

"Grrr! It got away!' Talo said.

"You disappoint me..."Malo muttered.

"Don't worry Talo, you'll get it eventually." Colin smiled.

I slightly laughed from Malo's response. I heard a trotting sound, probably from a horse. I turned around. The others heard it too.

"Sir Link!" A knight called out for him.

There was a knight on a horse, trotting towards them. He hopped off and looked for me.

"I'm right here." I walked towards him.

"Sir Link, I am sorry to disturb you, but there's a letter from the Princess. It's for you." The knight said, handing him the scroll.

"Thanks." I said.

I opened the scroll and started reading.

Dear Link,

I am of need of you at the palace. Please come to the throne room as soon as you get this.

I am sorry to request you while you are spending time with your friends and family, but it is urgent.

"Ilia, can I have Epona? I need to go."

Ilia nodded as she walked towards the stable.

"Sorry guys, but I have some important stuff to attend. I'll see you guys in a couple months, alright?" I asked.

"Alright, see ya' Link." Colin responded.

I followed Ilia up to the stables. She already had her outside. She cleaned her, and her saddle.

"Thanks Ilia, you don't have to do this, but you always do." I smiled.

"No problem, Link! Please be safe."

Ilia gave me a hug before I got on Epona and set off to Hyrule castle. She waved goodbye as I rode away. I wonder what Princess Zelda meant about something urgent. I better get there quick if I want to know. 

And so I went off to Hyrule castle. Zelda was already waiting there for me.
