SYNOPSIS: Jo Roberts-Chikere knows who her birth parents are, where she came from, why she was taken away, and its a blessing and a curse. Jo is trying to get to know Daniel Fai, her biological father, and it could be a lot worse...but it also could be better. As Jo builds a bond with Daniel, she has to decide if she's willing to forgive him for the mistakes he's made, and find out if he's willing to make up for them.
Liam Knight hasn't seen his parents in over two years. Since Jo is making an effort to know her father, Liam decides it's time to reach out to his parents. Taking Stevie with him, he ventures out to California to face the pain of his past, realizing that the scars left from his parents rejection of him are deeper than he once thought. Liam has to come to terms with his own self worth, as well as decide if he's willing to forgive his parents as well as himself.
