Andrian pov

I groaned as I heard my doorbell ringing and turned to look at the time in the wall clock ,8:03am.

This early!
for goodness sake don't a man deserves a break on a Saturday morning.
I went downstairs, it probably was Vince or
I yanked the door open in annoyance.

Ofcourse, I thought as I mentally rolled my eyes at Danny.
She was standing there wearing a black skin tight dress that stopped above her knees and black heels, and her make up face with bright red lipstick.
was she going to a burial ceremony?

She was smiling sweetly at me and my eyes fell on the box in her hands.

"Aren't you going to let me in?" She asked and I widened the door for her to enter. She looked around and her gaze fell on me and she smiled again.

"What are you doing here this early Danny?" I questioned, I wasn't really in the mood for any of Danny's dramas.

" Is it a crime to see my soon to be husband?" She pouted and I sighed.

"Anyways, I came here to give you this" she said  stretching her hands giving me the box that was wrapped and a ribbon on top. I raised one eyebrow at her and took the box and stared at it weirdly.

" Is today my birthday?" I asked curiously, maybe I forgot about it.

She laughed "No silly, today is your welcoming party as the new vice president of your dad's company"

"I know about that, why the gift?" I asked and dropped the box in the counter.

" Well, just wanted to give you something for congratulations cause you deserve it" she said and I looked at her and frowned, she just ruined my morning because of this?

" You didn't have too Danny" I said and she came closer slowly and held my left hand.

" I wanted to" she said and I rubbed my  face tiredly.

"Okay, thanks?"
she nodded and gave me a wide smile.

"Well I didn't just come here for that, my parents will be traveling for paris on Monday and there insisted I come with them"

Hallelujah, please go.

"So I was thinking maybe you should come with us, it's just for one week"she said and waited for my answer expectantly.

"No I don't think that's appropriate, it's a family trip and I don't want to be there" I shook my head.

"It's fine, I already told them and they were okay with that, infact they will be happy if you come along" she continued, they is no way in hell and going to Paris with Danny and her parents.

"Besides, you're like a family to, you know we will soon be getting married"
Oh boy!

She throw are hands around my neck and i rolled my eyes and shook my head no. no is No.

"I can't okay, besides I will be very busy this week" I said and removed her hands from my neck and she pouted.

"Pleeeaase" she said giving me puppy eyes. That was so not going to work on me.

"Danny am working on an important project right now and I can't leave it for some vacation, so stop pestering okay, I can't go with you" I said and her face fell disappointedly.

"Okay, I understand, but promise me when I come back we will go out on a date, a real date Andrian" she said and I sighed then nodded my head.

"Great, so we will be back next week Friday, so maybe we could hang out Saturday?" She questioned and I still nodded.
