Christmas Eve
"Oh hell fuckin no...SHE SAID WHAT?" I raged as Luca and I got out of my car and walked up to the front door of my place.

"Yeah shawty pressed me at the table." He shrugged.

I hit him hard as fuck in the chest. "WHY THE FUCK YOU AIN'T TELL ME WHEN I GOT BACK FROM THE BATHROOM LUCA..."

"You see how you actin now? Thats exactly why." He chuckled, watching me unlock the front door.

"You right." I agreed, realizing how angry I'd been.

Luca let me walk in first and go up the stairs while he closed and locked the door behind us.

"Yeah see. You woulda been trippin." He laughed.

"Well I have a right. You ain't even do nothing bro. Bianca gotta chill on you for real." I huffed from upstairs.

He followed me, entering my bed room and waiting for me to turn on the light. Once I did, he took his jacket off and hung it up on one of my bedroom hooks.

I did the same, kicking my heels off and putting the clothes I wore to the side. Then I let my hair out of it's tight ass ponytail.

"What'd you say back to her?" I asked.

"Nothing. I just sat there and waited for you n her nigga to come back."

"I hate the fact that you told me now instead of telling me when I got back." I sighed. "She always does this shit. Means well but ends up fuckin shit up. Every time I talk to someone new."

"Did she do it to Jared?" He asked.

My heart kind of sank for a moment. That name brought back memories. Painful ones. Especially when I received the news that he'd been the one breaking in and choking me in my sleep as crazy as that sounded. Wasn't none the police could do other than give me a high tech security system. My life was a movie. A poorly directed shitty ass movie.

"No of course not." I rolled my eyes, collapsing on my bed.

"Then why she pressing me so much? The fuck..." He scoffed.

I rolled my eyes. "She said you give her bad vibes and you seem arrogant. She don't like the fact youn have a job, barely know what's going on around you and she thinks you might be a drug dealer."

"I don't need a job." He shrugged. "And I do know what the fuck goin on around me. She might be right about the arrogant part to a degree but other than that, fuck her. I ain't no fuckin drug dealer neither."

Normally, I'd defend my cousin but in my opinion, she was wrong in this situation. Luca ain't do shit to her. She wanted to get to know him but did the exact opposite. Her opinion was irrelevant at this point.

Suddenly, my phone started to ring.

"Look it's her tryna FaceTime me now." I huffed, answering the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey Nai." She sighed.

"What is it?" I asked.

"So in conclusion. Ion like ya boyfriend. Like I told you back at the restaurant...I would really consider thinking twice about y'all relationship." She said. "I'm worried bout you."

I looked over at Luca. His face looked shocked as hell.

Immediately, my face scrunched up. "You ain't say nun bout pressing him when I went to the bathroom though."

"Well..." She shrugged, not knowing what to say.

"Well what?" I asked. "That shit was mad uncalled for like..."
