Well today we will talk on religion.
We have 3 major religions in Nigeria which consists of
1)Christianity
2) Islamic Religion
3)Traditional Religion
If you are a Nigerian, you may already be familiar with Traditional Religion but for those who are not, let me explain.....
Every Tribe, Kingdom, Town, Village has their own deity in which they worship (Not everyone) E.g in the western parts of Nigeria we have deities like:
Orunmila
Oduduwa
Ibeji etc.
In the east we have
Odinani
Alas etc
Also in the North we have
Maguzawa
Bori
Etc.
As the country developed people started leaving these deities to either Christianity of Islamic Religion. Some thought it was babaric and old fashion. Others were lead to Christ or Allah. But there are still Traditionalists today.
