It was the next morning. Currently, I was sitting inside the cafe with everyone. It was kind of nice to have breakfast with each other again.
But...the more I looked around the more upset I became.
There was only 7 of us in here. We started out with 16.
9 of us died.
That's really depressing to think about. I mean- of course it is! It's death.
It's just...those people who died...they're all people I knew! People I practically subjected to death- well, at least four of them.
Baroness...the sweet girl who would never hurt a fly. She didn't want to kill anyone. It was an accident, and yet she still "payed the price" for what happened.
Rumor...extremely motherly, she loved all of us, I could tell. She had a big heart, a lot of potential. I just wish she wasn't blinded by greed.
Grim...a great guy to be honest- well was a great guy. He was smart, really smart. Too smart. He really did help with the trials.
Beppi...gosh. It's too soon to say anything about him. Just thinking about Beppi and his trial...it makes me extremely depressed. Beppi was fantastic at doing what he loved, which was being a clown and making others happy.
All of those guys, I basically paved the way to their death. I lead the trials, I sealed their fate.
Some of them did deserve it though.
I shook my head. I shouldn't think that. Even if it is true- no. It isn't true. No one deserves to get executed so brutally. I wish they could've been put in jail or something.
Mugman snapped his fingers in front of my face."Hey Cuphead, you okay? You seem lost in thought."
I blinked my eyes rapidly. "Y-Yeah sorry..."
"You don't have to apologize, I just wanted to make sure you were-"
"Hey guys how long do you think we've been here?" Cala exclaimed, unintentionally interrupting Mugman. "A month? Two months?"
"20 days." Blind Specter suddenly spoke. "We have been here for a total of 20 days."
"20?! That's so short. I thought we've been here for at least 3 weeks." Cala crossed her arms. That's- you know what? Nevermind.
