***WARNING: THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS A CHARACTER HAVE AN P*NIC ATTACK***

Sorry in advance for any mistakes!

I remember when I was around 7 or 8, I had this really cool game. I don't know the name of it, but I just know I loved to play it everyday after school.

It was a simple concept. Play as your little character and go through different levels to save the kingdom.

Each level you would go through had a trial. The trial was always based off of the levels' theme. For example, one of the levels was water themed. That meant the trial had something to do with water. It was great. I always looked forward to the trials, I thought they were the coolest thing ever!

But...now...

...that word "trial"...

It has an entire different meaning to me. I no longer get excited when I'm about to participate in one. That's because this trial isn't in a video game. It's real life. If I messed up in the game, I could just restart and try again. No one was hurt.

No one died.

But...I can't do that here. I can't just hit the "restart button". That's not how it works- unfortunately.

So here I am. I don't know how, I don't know why, but I'm here: standing at my post, readying myself for this trial. This deadly trial.

And it sucks. It's unfair, all of it. I never asked to be here. But that's how life is; it's unfair and unpredictable.

You don't want to have the flu? Well that sure sucks cause you're getting it anyways! You wanted to have the blue shoes instead of the red ones? Too bad! Red shoes for you! You got burned and don't want a scar? We don't care! You're getting a scar anyways!

That's just how life is. We as humans just have to deal with it. Even if we really, really, really, really, don't want to, we have to.

That's why I'm just going to suck up all my feelings, hide them, and get through this trial. I know I can do it, I've done it the last 4 trials already.

This'll be a piece of cake.

"Sooooo! Fifth trial, huh?" Dicekuma said, looking around the room excitedly. "They always say 5's the lucky number!"

"No one ever says that." Weepy dryly stated.

Dicekuma frowned. "Whatever! I'm just tryin' lighten up the mood in here! It's so quiet and boring! C'mon, get to debating! I have to yell at you chumps to begin every trial all the time- I'm sick of it!"

"That's because we never know where to start." Wally reminded.

"Does it look like I care?" Dicekuma asked, tapping his fingers against the arms of his thrown.
