Christmas at Hogwart

Hermione told that her, Ron, and Harry  talked to hagrid yesterday. She told me that it was Snape that put a curse on my broom. I was a little shocked, I thought he liked me? She also told me about the three headed dog and how the thing it's guarding is something that belongs to someone name Nicholas Flamel.

It was almost Christmas here at Hogwarts, the snow was falling and everything just looked beautiful. I was watching Ron beat Harry in their game of chess. I love Harry but chess is not his thing. I giggles at the thought. "What are you giggling about?" Harry said. I smirked, "nothing" I said trying not to say anything about the move he just made. "Night to E-5" Harry said, Looking confident. Ron smirked "Queen to E-5" Ron says, and soon the queen moves to Harry's price and breaks it into pieces. I laughed at Harry. "Oh you be quiet" he chuckled.
"That's totally barbaric!" Hermione says unamused.
"That's wizards chest" Ron states "I see you've packed" he spoke again. "I see you haven't" she said rolling her eyes. "Change of plans, my parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother Charlie, he's studying dragons there" Ron said.
"Y/n are you not going home?" Hermione asked.

"Y/n get down here!" Dad said. I ran downstairs and picked out my presents. My stepparents had a smile on their face. It wasn't because they were happy for me, it was more of a smirk. "Go on open them" mother said. I picked on out and unwrapped it. My smile slightly dropped at the view of cleaning supplies. "Cleaning supplies?" I asked angrily. " don't take that tone with me!" Dad said walking up to me. "I'm sorry, I-I'm just....confused, why would you get me cleaning supplies?" I asked. " well so you can clean dear, we don't want some random filthy animal cleaning our home" mother laughed. " less wealthy people are no normal!" I yelled, I was fuming with anger. They know my best friend Leila was having money problems. " I said do not take that tone with me!" Father said as he lifted his hand and it connected with my face. I fell to the ground and felt my hand to my face. "If you disobey me again it will be much worse!" He raised his voice again. I got up and ran to my room, that was the last time I would ever talk back to my parents, and the last presents I've ever gotten since I didn't appreciate them.

I looked down and fiddled with my thumb. I started burning up. " Y/n your eyes!" Ron said is a hushed tone. I noticed and quickly covered my eyes. "N-no I'm staying here, this is my home now" I said. When I finally calmed down I took my hands away rom my face. "Y/n are you ok" Harry asked worryingly.
"Y-yeah, yeah I'm fine I said" hiding the sadness in my voice, but I could tell Harry noticed. "Ok well then you can help Harry then" she gestured. "He's going to go look in the library for information on Nicholas Flamel" "we've looked 100 times" Ron complained. " not in the restricted section" Hermione smirked leaning on the table. "Happy Christmas she said walking away. "Hermione wait!" I said yelling after her. She stopped in her tracks and turned to me. "I want to give you this!" I said handing her a small box I wrapped in violet, her favourite colour. "Oh my god that reminds me!" She said excitingly and hands me a small box wrapped in navy blue, my favourite colour. We hugged and said goodbye. "Safe travels!" I said and she waved off.

I heard yelling from the living room in the dormitory. Ron was yelling for Harry to wake up. I might as well get up too. I put on a purple sweater and black shorts and walked down and saw Harry and Ron sitting my the fireplace. "Happy Christmas Y/n!!" They both said. "Happy Christmas guys!" I smiled and ran over to them hugging them both right and then pulled away. "Ron what are you wearing?" I teased. " my mom made it" he shrugged. I laughed, " oh don't get to comfortable my mom made you one too" he chuckled. " I-I have presents?" I asked confused but happy and the same time. " of course it is Christmas" Ron said. Harry and I looked at each other almost like we could read each other's minds. Me him are basically living the same life just miles and miles apart. I opened Hermione's present first. It was a gorgeous silver dragon bracelet, she loves the fact that I'm a dragon so I'm not surprised by this gift but it was beautiful. Then I opened my friend Leila from home. It was a necklace with a red stone. I got my Owl Olive to send a letter to her telling her everything from being a Witch and having powers, she absolutely flipped when I told her.

There was two more presents under the tree, one from Ron's mom and one from an anonymous person. I went with the unknown gift. "Who's it from?" Ron and Harry say. " it doesn't say" I reply.
"Harry you've got one too!" Ron said. Harry took his present in his hands and rested it on his lap. "You open yours first!" I said excited. He noticed a letter on the side and read it out loud. " your father left this in my possession before he died, it is time i returned it to you, use it well" he finished. He then unwrapped the gift revealing a cloak of some sort. "What is it" Ron asked. "It's some sort of cloak?" Harry said
"Well let's see then" Ron gestured. Harry our the cloak on and his bottom half disappeared only his head left. "My body'a gone!"Harry said. I was shocked my eyes widened at Ron. " I know what that is, it's an invisibility cloak!" Ron explained. I was in awe, that's so cool. "Open yours Y/n!" Ron said.
I nodded, there was Also a note. "Y/n take this and protect it, in the hands of the wrong people it could be dangerous " I read the note. "What could it be?"Ron asked. I opened the gift. It was a silver ring with what looked similar to be a golden snitch, and had a blue gem in the middle. I put it on. I stood there, nothing happened. "Nothings happening?" I said. "Maybe it's just a regular ring?" Ron said. "But why would they want her to protect a regular old ring?" Harry asked. "I don't know?" I said. "Ok well tonight me and Harry will go to the library and try and find any information on Nicholas Flamel" I said to them. They nodded and we finished openeing the rest of Ron's presents.

And guys I know these chapters are long but I have so much detail I need to put into these books so that's why. ALSO the Draco Malfoy fanfic is REALLY REALLY soon so I'm working on it:)
