I don't know why but I second guessed myself when I went to do my grand jetè and land wrong. I sit there clenching my ankle as Coach Val comes over after she yelled at someone to get ice, it's bad I can feel it swelling as I hold it.
"How bad does it hurt Luna," Coach Val asked
"Pretty bad, can you call my grandma," I reply
"Sure," she says. About 5 minutes later Coach Val walked back in and told me to keep the ice on my ankle and my grandma should be here soon. somehow I still have a smile on my face.
"What's that smile for?" Coach Val asked
"It's just that I never thought I would hurt myself while my parents don't even know that I left the house at all like normally they know I'm not home but they just don't care. I can't wait to see there faces when I walk in the door." We both laugh a little. When my grandma came to get me she took me straight to the doctor and they said
"You have a bad sprain in your ankle, you should stay off of it for at least 4 weeks."
"4 WEEKS!" I say
"Yes, I hope it heals fast." I get handed a pair of crutches and we get ushered out the door. I guess they don't like people coming in late. I get home and grandma asks if I want her to walk in with me, I say no. I don't want her to get caught in the crossfire of my parents, I have to deal with this myself.
"Bye, love you," I say to her
"Love you too" She replies. I walk into the house slower than I would on a normal day when I don't want to deal with them.
There sitting in the living room.
"Hi mom hi dad," I say a little shyly
"Luna what happened," they said concerning
"I was at the studio and overworked myself and sprained my ankle," I told them scared to hear how they would reply
"How did you get to the studio?" My mom said angrily
