"Great job definitely the best you've ever done." She says
"Thank you, I couldn't have done it without you," I tell her, I can almost see a tear in her eye.
"Number 1 and 16, please return to the floor," the announcer says. I wonder who number 1 is. I walk so fast to the floor. Then I see her Cassie standing there, "she must be number 1" I say to myself
"You two are here because we could not decide between the two of you, so one of you will become Clara the other a snowflake," He says, I nod my head.
"Number 1 would you please go first." He told Cassie
"Of course," she says all nice, so nice it still sounds fake. She's good so good, I stop watching and imagen my grandma dancing my solo showing me how to perfect it,
"Number 16" I hear, it wakes me from my trance, I go out on the floor and dance, they must have still struggled to diced because they asked us both why we dance
"I dance because it's what I love and I'm amazing at it," Cassie says
"And your number 16?"
"My name is Luna, I dance because as my coach told me it's a language that not everyone understands, even if you dance it doesn't mean you understand it. My grandmother used to dance" I started to cry now
"She was the only other person in my family that danced she past away just a week ago. My parents despise me dancing I sprained my ankle 5 weeks ago, I don't want pity from me telling you this I tell you this because you asked why I dance. I have an older sister who's in art shows, an older brother who is apart of theater and two parents who have never once seen me dance yet I've danced sened i've been little." I'm crying as they dismiss us. They call me back in first
"We are happy to inform you that you will be playing Clara." I don't hear what else they say. As soon as I get home I tell Mike and Faith.
"Hey mom, I was wondering if Mike and I could to watch the Nutcracker?" Faith says with Mike next to her,
"Of course, what about Luna?" She asks
"She has dance," Mike says, I can't wait to see there faces when I dance across the stage. I car pull with Siana so my parents don't suspect anything. It's the show I'm so nervous, Cassie is still upset about me beating her it gets so boring sometimes.
"Good luck out there," I tell her as I walk on it's still dark so they can't tell it's me. Then the lights come on and I dance every time I see Mom and Dad's faces it's amazing they finally see who I am how I express myself.
