Hey mom,
I thought you were supposed to love me!
All I feel is fear around you!
It's become so familiar that I barely pause or freeze anymore
You terrify me with the ease that is to breathe.
And that seems so impossible for others except you
Why is it so easy for you to be so scary,
To be so angry and stressful
To be so terrifying and impossible
You may be my mother but the obligation when you had me was to love me too,
Not just bathe, feed, and keep me out of the bad things outside,
It's your job, as a mother to love me,
To nurture me.
But instead,
You bring fear up my legs and arms
You trigger me.
