Delilah POV
~~~~~~~~
It was finally the day before we go back to school and John and Cece slept over again.
John slept in my room but I made him sleep on the pullout bed. He tried to argue with me but I won.
He was still texting so I just turned around and fell asleep.
I woke up in someone's arms. When I turned around, it was John. He was sleeping peacefully and I saw a note next to me.
Lilah,
When you wake up, you'll see me spooning with you. I can't sleep without you in my arms anymore. You're growing on me, okay ?
~John
I scrunch the note up and throw it at his face. Silently hoping that he doesn't wake up. He just turns around and begins to spoon with my pillow and he moans my name.
I begin to walk upstairs to Tyler's room. I really need to talk to my brother. Tyler knows about mine and John's status. Just messing around with each other.
He didn't like it at first but I don't know what changed his mind.
One day he was trying to stop us and the next he didn't care.
I hear whispering and laughing from inside his room.
I knock lightly and I hear a come in.
"Hey guys. I really need to talk to somebody." I say to Cece and Tyler. They're watching Teen Wolf and eating popcorn.
"Sure baby sis, come ere." He says and pats the spot between him and Cece. He wraps an arm around me when I sit and Cece lays her head on my lap. Tears prick the back of my eyes and I can't hold them off any longer.
I sob uncontrollably and Tyler wraps his other arm around me. Cece wraps her arms around my waist. "He was- he was texting Megan l-last n-night." I sob out.
"I can't do it any longer !" I scream. I'm not a playtoy. And school starts tomorrow !
I'll have to deal with her plastic self for a whole school year.
"Then don't. Ignore him. Leave him alone. Just forget his ass." Cece says nonchalantly.
"Actually...." Tyler trails off. "What ?" Me and Cece say at the same time. "He's coaching the boys basketball team for a while and tomorrow's the try out date." Tyler says quickly.
"Uggghhhh!!" I say. "Our tryouts are next week, we're good." Cece says.
1 week later
~~~~~~~~~

"Ball !" I say to the girls trying out. The girl runs to the ball and passes it to me. I make a perfect lay up and go to the end of the line.

I don't have to try out because me and Cece are already captains. But we still want to see what girls might be at practice next week.

Cece goes right after me and makes a perfect lay up and comes behind me. "We might end up with the same people on the team as last year." She mumbles.

I nod my head. Although these girls have some skills, they're not good enough for varsity.

"Alright. Next we're going to go outside to see your agility and speed." Coach says. We all walk outside and coach asks me and Cece to step up.

"These are your captains of varsity. Now watch how fast they run. Ladies." He says and me and Cece dart off to the fence. I reach the fence first and slow down a little so Cece can catch up. She has asthma and I know that she pushes herself to the line that her doctor put for her effort.

Then we sprint at the same speed back and make it under a minute. The girls clap and we giggle and bow.

We may be ballers, but we're also girls.

This whole week I've been avoiding John. Every time he tried to talk to me in the halls or something, I walk away or make up some lame excuse.

I've been frustrated this whole week, mentally and sexually.

Coach sends the girls trying out for 2 fences instead of the one me and Cece did.

I see Cece with her asthma pump on the ledge and breathing in the medication. I walk over to her.

"You good Cee ?" I breathe out. Just that one fence had me almost dying. I should start running more now that seasons about to start. Just 4 more months and Heaven will start. Well, my Heaven on Earth.

"Yeah. It's just been a while since we ran fences. I'm good though." She breathes out and takes another two pumps of her inhaler.

We walk back over in time for the first girl to come back.

"2 minutes isn't so bad." Coach says. "Well, we'll see about that in games." I say.

"True." Coach says and rushes the rest of the girls.

This season should be good.

A/N: hey there guys !! Another update. My birthday on Sunday ! Whoop whoop !
