Chapter 5~ Fun in the Sun

Delilah POV

So last night was pretty interesting. Me and John ended up making out until 11 p.m. I wanted to go further but he said that he doesn't want to have sex unless we were a couple.

I really want to be his girlfriend, but I don't know what's going to happen now. Last night was amazing. But we never defined what we are. Are we just going I go backwards again ? Is he still going to sleep with Megan ?

We were at six flags already. I found out that Tyler and Cece are officially a couple. They were in a souvenir shop getting toys and food and such. John and I were at a booth where he was tossing baseballs at bottles to win me something.

"YESS!!" He yelled when he hit all of the bottles.

"You can choose whichever beat you want." The owner said blandly. He chose the huge panda and gave it to me and kissed me gently.

"Thank you." I grinned. "Of course bab- Lilah." He said then blushed.

I blush at him almost calling me baby or babe. He grabs my hand while walk toward the souvenir shop and looks away while blushing when I look over at him.

When we get to the door, Cece and Tyler walk out with huge grins on their faces.

"You guys look happy." John says suspiciously.

"Yeah. Look." Cece and held her hand up. On her ring finger stood a promise ring with a lollipop as a diamond. "Inside the honey lollipop is a little diamond. It means that for a good ending you need to work hard."

"And suck ?" I joke and we all laugh. "well, we should start heading back. We are 4 hours away. And it's midnight." High said looking at his phone while texting.

I didn't want to invade his privacy so I just stood next to him. Finally after about 3 minutes, he locked his phone and put it away and held my hand again.

"Let's go. We can get some food on the way." Tyler said and got his keys out.

We walked to the car and got inside. Cece sat in the front with Tyler, while me and John sat in the back. I later my head on his shoulder while he took his phone out again and started texting. When I saw the person he was texting, I moved away from him and instead cuddled on Pedro.

Yes. I already named my panda. John doesn't even say anything about me moving. I lay on Pedro and silently cried.

I know it's stupid, but I can't help my feelings. I'm in love with that boy. That guy that breaks my heart everyday. The guy that saved me from the world.

I sniff a little too loudly and John hears. "Lilah ? What's wrong ?" He says concerned. "Just allergies." I lie. "Okay." He says, then just goes back to texting.

Then I fall asleep with tears running down my face.

"Lilah. Lilah wake up. Lilah, we're getting food." I hear Tyler say in the distance.

When I open my eyes, Tyler is in front of me and Cece next to him with a worried expression. John is next to me passed out. His phone still in his hands.

Tyler looks over to John. "I'll wake him up. You guys can go and get seated." We stopped at a 24 hour diner. I see early birds in there having breakfast.

When Tyler and Cece go in I turn to John and stare at his flawless face. His bushy but maintained eyebrows, his long eyelashes that touch his high cheek bones. That beautiful red soft mouth of his.

I snap out of my daze and begin to wake him up.

"John. John wake up." He stirs in his sleep. "5 more minutes baby." He says and my heart skips a beat.

"Who's- who's your baby ?" I ask him cautiously. "Megan." He says, and my heart and stomach drop.

"Megan ? Don't you mean Lilah ?" I ask. "Her too. I love her more, but Megan is a bad girl, she gives me what I like." After that I just can't take it anymore and shake him.

"John wake up." I say sternly and he wakes up.

"What ? Are we there yet ?" He says while rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"No. We're getting food." I say curtly and walk out of the car. He follows after me and we both walk in and sit in the same booth as Tyler and Cece. Cece is laying her head on Tyler's shoulder while holding his arm.

"Welcome to Denny's. May I take your order ?" A sassy old lady says while walking over to us.

We order and then wait for our orders to get here.

After 2 minutes our drinks get here and Tyler gulps down his coffee. "More please." He says to the waitress before she could even put down the rest of our drinks.

"Babe don't drink too much or else you'll crash with exhaustion later." Cece whispers to him.

I wish me and John could be like that. Carefree and just happy together. But there he is on that stupid phone again.

"I know, I just don't want any of you to get hurt because of me." He whispers back.

After we eat and drink, we get back into the car for another 2 hours and finally make it home by the time the sun is about to start rising.

"Can I sleep over again ?" Cece and John say at the same time." I nod. Cece goes with Tyler and John comes to my room.

I undress to just my panties and put a tank top on with cotton shorts. John walks in shirtless and with basketball shorts on. He has clothes in Tyler's man cave.

I lay down in bed while he begins to text yet again. Did Megan really break night just to talk to him ??

When he's done, he connects his phone to charge and lays down behind me. I didn't expect for him to do anything except to just sleep. But he wraps his strong arms around my waist and pulls me to his chest and entangles our legs. I hear him sigh of pleasure and I sigh too. This could be us everyday.

If he wasn't such a player.
