On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. Sir Reginald Hargreeves eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopted as many of the children as possible. He got eight of them.

That was 16 years ago, me and my "siblings" are all split up. I keep in contact with a few as much as I can. My brother, number one, Luther is on the moon, my other one, number two, Diego is a vigilante, my sister Alison, number three, is a celebrity, my other brother, number four, Klaus, is probably somewhere getting high, my brother, five.. is missing, number 6, Ben, dead, and then Vanya, number 7, a good violinist, and then me, I'm a .. um, you'll find out. My name is Elizabeth Stark. I changed my name so I won't remember being apart of the family.. the old man was hard on us.

"Liz!" I looked up erasing my thoughts as my roommate called me. "Did you see the news?" I looked at her confused. "Your dads gone Liz.." I got up and walked to the bathroom grabbing my book sack on the way and changed. When I approached I sighed and looked around it was getting dark, I walked up slowly.. 16 years I waited for this .. I slowly walked in seeing Vanya and Alison standing there.

"Liz?"

"Hi?" Vanya smiled and hugged me.

"Hey, Van, Ali." Ali hugged me too smiling.

"Lizzy?" I looked at Klaus then Ben.

"There's my two favorite boys." Klaus opened his arms as I ran to him. "This is for you both." Klaus chuckled.

"Finally someone with common since I can talk to." I laughed and shook my head.

"Elizabeth." I looked at Luther as he came down.

"Hi.." he smiled and wrapped his big arms around me.

"Wow you still look..."

"13 I know.." He chuckled a little leading me to the living room, making me stop, I looked up at the picture and sighed.

"Ms. Elizabeth." I smiled and looked at Pogo.

"Pogo." He hugged me as I reached him. I looked at the painting again. "How long has it been since five disappeared?"

"Sixteen years, four months, fourteen days."

"I used to leave the lights on at night, in case he came back. I didn't want him to be scared."

"Your father used to insist he could feel Number Five's presence. That he was still out there, somewhere. He never gave up hope."

"And look where it got him."  I looked behind me and saw everyone walk in the room. I sat on the couch next to a Van.

"I guess we should get this started." I looked at Luth. "So, I figured we could have a sort of memorial service in the courtyard at sundown. Say a few words just at Dad's favorite spot."

"Dad had a favorite spot?" I looked at Ali as she sat in a chair near us.

"You know, under the oak tree. We used to sit out there all the time. None of you ever did that?" We all shook our heads looking at him weird.

"Will there be refreshments? Tea? Scones? Cucumber sandwiches are always a winner." I looked at Klaus as he came back in a skirt.

"What? No. And put that out. Dad didn't allow smoking in here."

"Is that my skirt?"

"What? Oh, yeah, this. I found it in your room. It's a little dated, I know, but it's very breathey on the bits." I laughed at him as he twirled around.

"Listen up. Still some important things that we need to discuss, all right?"

"Like what?" I looked at Luth agreeing with Diego.

"Like the way he died."

"And here we go."

"I don't understand. I thought they said it was a heart attack." I said leaning forward.

"Yeah, according to the coroner."

"Well, wouldn't they know?"

"Theoretically." I looked at him weird then van.

"Theoretically?" We said at the same time making us giggle.

"I'm just saying, at the very least, something happened. The last time that I talked to Dad, he sounded strange."

"Oh, quelle surprise!" We all looked at Klaus.

"Strange how?"

"He sounded on edge. Told me I should be careful who to trust."

"Luther, he was a paranoid, bitter old man who was starting to lose what was left of his marbles." I told him sitting back.

"No. He must have known something was going to happen. Look, I know you don't like to do it, but I need you to talk to Dad." Klaus scoffed before sitting down.

"I can't just call Dad in the afterlife and be like, 'Dad, could you just... stop playing tennis with Hitler for a moment and take a quick call?'" I laughed shaking my head.

"Since when? That's your thing."

"I'm not in the right... frame of mind." Of course he'd be..

"You're high?"

"Yeah! Yeah! I mean, how are you not, listening to this nonsense?" Klaus laughed crossing his legs.

"Well, sober up, this is important." Luth sighed before continuing. "Then there's the issue of the missing monocle."

"Who gives a shit about a stupid monocle?"

"Exactly. It's worthless. So whoever took it. I think it was personal. Someone close to him. Someone with a grudge." Excuse me?

"Where are you going with this?" I looked at Klaus and scoffed.

"Oh, isn't it obvious, Klaus?"

"He thinks one of us killed Dad." Diego finished for me, Klaus gasped.

"You do?"

"How could you think that?"

"Great job, Luther. Way to lead." I shook my head standing up as Diego left.

"That's not what I'm saying."

"You're crazy, man. You're crazy." I laughed as Klaus walked out.

"I've not finished."

"Sorry, I'm just gonna go murder Mom. Be right back." I smiled and stopped in front of Luth.

"You know, I thought, I'd come here, say goodbye, and see my family. Being accused of murder wasn't on the list." I patted his shoulder before walking away.

"That's not what I was saying. I didn't... Allison." I went to mine and Five's room and sighed, I grabbed one of his shirts and sighed, I laid down cuddling into the shirt.
