Today, she listens.
She sat in the corner of the classroom,
like the start of a familiar cliché.
However, she is not the main character.
At least, not today.She's apart of someone else's big story
Though, we have no idea who,
Because she's apart of many people's stories
The subject is up to you.In any case, the subject speaks out
Narrating another page
And so, the girl listened carefully
Wanting to hear what they had to sayIn another corner of the classroom
Sits a girl, attention span at zero
However, she is not the main character
she prefers the title of 'Hero'She assumed this would become her story
Since the hero's known for saving the day
But, if you understand more about stories
you'd know that's not always the caseAnd by learning this, her light was put out
She no longer had something to fight for
Her leaving the plot so carefully
She couldn't see it asking for moreTomorrow, she learns
