Third person pov:
''Come on Maggie, my dad will not even know who did it come onnnnnnnnnn please'' Mai says enthusiastically
''Fine but if he catches us you are responsable for everything, ok?'' Maggie says something upset about Mai's childish behavior
'' Fine, anyway he will not notice nothing'' says the girl with a smile on her face
both girls laughing go to the room of Mai's father
Flashback from yesterday
Mai's father pov:
I was about to go to work when Nick (A/N: that's how the father call her) approached me
''Daddy why can't I go to your room?'' she asked me
I can't let her there because I have many dangerous weapons so instead of telling her that i said ''Because el Coco will come for you if you go there'' and then I proceed to pat her head
She was quiet for a couple of seconds ''Ok daddy I will not go there, I don't want el Coco to come for me'' then she go to her room as I go to my job
End flashback
Maggie's pov:
I entered to the room first to see if anyone was there luckily there didn't seem to be anyone so me and Mai entered
''Ok now what?'' I asked
''We are going to for important things or interesting things, if they prevented me from coming here it will be for something'' she answered to my question
''Fine, I'll look near the desk, you look in the closet'' she started to look on the closet and I started looking on the desk, there were papers so many papers but one catched my atencion, it was a kind of diary, I started reading:
'' July 10, 2001
Just a month after Nick was born her mother abandoned her and me, I don't know much of raising babies but I will try to do my best for her, I want this baby to have a good future.
July 13, 2001
I started to look up for a job, I don't want to leave Nicks side but we need money so I'm looking for a babysitter''
I stopped reading when I heard a BANG
Mai's pov:
I was looking in the closer when I saw a box ''what a nice box'' I thought to myself as i tried to open the box, ''wow'' I murmured to myself, it was a toy gun
''Hey Maggie look'' she didn't respond, looks like she was busy with something but I didn't care
''Let's see how this toy works'' I thought, I pulled the trigger 'BANG'
I threw the gun away from me scared, it turned out it wasn't a toy gun
''I did something bad el coco will come from me'' I started cry
Maggie looked scared to but came to calm me down
Third person pov:
both girls still scared heard the door open showing a tall and imposing figure of a woman, she was Mai's stepmother
'' WHAT DID YOU DO SCUMBAG'' the woman screamed, approaching Mai, she grabbed her by the hair
''STOP DON'T BLAME HER'' Maggie cried trying to help her friend but the woman pushed her
The woman took Mai out of the room while Maggie lying on the floor watching her go, feeling weak
Le time skip
Still third person pov:
After the woman punished the little girl she leaved her on her room and proceed to go outside
''El...........coco..........'' the girl repeated softly to herself over and over again with tears in her eyes
''Come on now it's all over, if she dares to hurt you again she will deal with me'' Maggie tried to comfort her friend
''R-Really............?'' Mai asked to the friend sitting next to her
''Yes and not only her it means for everyone who tries to hurt you again'' Maggie hugged Mai making her feeling better
''Your my best friend'' Mai hugged her tighter
''And your mine'' Maggie said with a little smile on her face
