A few weeks on from previous events, it was tough on both parties to get on with everything but they were slowly or surely getting there, or so they had both hoped.

Today was more or less a distraction for Tansy with Cassidy and Harry inviting her down to London for the weekend. Although it was good company for her, Tansy's new found coping mechanism was for her to bury herself into her university work.

"You look amazing, lovely!" Cassidy greeted Tansy, pulling her into a big bear hug. "How have you been after all of this?"

"Doing a lot better, thanks Cass." With Tansy forcing a weak smile upon her face. "I've brushed my hair and put a bit of makeup on which seems like the first time in forever. Also thank you both for inviting me down for a bit."

"You're more than welcome. It's a rare weekend that we all get to see each other now a days." Harry got a say in between the two girls. "Can I treat you two to a coffee?"

"I'll get them!" Cassidy jumped to the opportunity before anyone else could intervene. "I guess you two will take your usuals?"

"Yes!" Both Harry and Tansy said in unison, with the brunette bouncing into the the coffee shop behind the trio.

"How's the whole nursing thing going then? It can't be too long until your qualified now, ey?" The brunette haired boy struck up the conversation, as they waited for his girlfriend.

"Only another year and a bit to go! It's just all assignment after assignment at the minute." The blonde said with a little bit more enthusiasm in her. "I'm considering staying in Edinburgh permanently. Seeing as there's no pressure or rush to come back now."

"Cass did tell me she was going to give you a hand with the assignment parts. This is all so fascinating to me." He chuckled at his own interest in the subject. "No matter where you end up, never forget your routes."

"Some parts I wish I could forget." Tansy laughed away to herself. "You can take the girl out of Milton Keynes but you can't take the Milton Keynes out of the girl!"

"That's very true!" Harry nodded in agreement, before turning to face the coffee shop. "Cass is taking her time, isn't she? There's not even a line to get in there."

"She's probably caught up in conversation with one of the barista's, we know how much Cassidy loves a chat." Tansy chuckled, before looking into the coffee shop aswell.

"That's where you've been." Harry chuckled, with Cassidy greeting them with their coffee. "Were you chatting away to the girls?"

"How did you guess?" Cassidy's smile beamed from ear to ear. "I could win a gold medal at the Olympics if it was for talking, otherwise, count me out, sports isn't my thing." Making the two of them laugh as they embarked on the short walk back to Harry and Cassidy's house.

"Your phones ringing, Tans." Harry called over to the two girls who were embarked on Tansy's university assignment.

"Answer it for me, I'll be over in a second." The blonde looked up at her ringing phone, before placing her books down.

"I think it's probably better if you answer it." The boy said after looking at the caller id. "It's James."

"He must've got the wrong number, let me see to it." Tansy screwed her face in confusion, before taking her phone from Harry. "Hello? James?"

"Tansy, thank god you answered!" James announced with a sigh of relief. "It's Ben, he's taken a knock."

"What am I supposed to do about that? That's his own fault." She shrugged it off without a care in the world. "I appreciate you telling me but I don't account for him anymore. Goodbye Jam-"

"Tansy, listen. Ben's in a bit of a bad way." James kept her on her toes. "I know you're annoyed with him but I think you coming would do him the world of good."

"Annoyed is an understatement." The student nurse huffed down the line.  "Give me a few hours and I'll be there."  As she hung up the phone call.

"Everything okay, T?" Cassidy asked, looking concerned at the girl. "Can we do anything to help?"

"I'm getting the next train to Leicester. Ben's apparently taken a bad knock." The girl said, with a bit more emotion in her voice. "Am I stupid for going to see him?"

"Of course not, it's normal to still care." Harry jumped in to reassure the girl. "Get your things and I'll drive you back to Leicester."

"You honestly don't have to." She attempted to refuse the offer. "I don't want to ruin my weekend away with this and plus my assignment on top of this."

"You can come back down to us another weekend if need be. Just grab what you need to take to Leicester with you." Cassidy also tried to reassure her. "I'll help you all I can with the assignment too!"

"Thank you guys, you two really are the best!" Tansy pulled the couple into a group hug. "What would I do without you two?"

"It's what friends are for! Now go and get a move on or we'll be late!" Cassidy chuckled, as Tansy began to go and get her things together for the day or so ahead.
