Daichi smiles. "It's great to see you, Emi-chan!" He takes her into his arms as she jumps into his direction. Her happy laughter stops as she sees how Suga enters the house as well. "Who's that?"
"Who's what, who's what, who's what??" A young boys voice can be heard from another room. "Atsushi, Atsushi! Come here quick! Look, look! You gotta see this! Nii-chan brought a friend!"
"A friend?" The boy asked as he came around the corner and towards the entrance. "Welcome home Onii-chan."
Daichi smiled at the boy and then looked around a bit before letting his little sister go. "Hey where are mom and dad?"
The girl looked at her younger brother and then back to her older one. "Mom said they'll be home late because of a meeting."
"Ah. Good to know", Daichi says before getting up and turning to Suga "Suga, these are my younger siblings. Emi-chan and Atsushi-chan", he turns back to the two curious children "this is Suga, my boyfriend."
Suga smiles brightly. "Sugawara Koushi. Nice to meet you two."
As the two younger children look at each other and back to Suga, they say in almost perfect sync, "You're so pretty!"
Trying to hide the fact that he's flustered, Suga chuckles shortly.
"Ok guys, let him come in first", Daichi says before turning to his boyfriend "Do you want me to show you the garden then?"
The little boy, Atsushi, speaks up. "Do you play Volleyball, too?"
"Yes I do", Suga answers.
"Can you show us something?! Pleeeeaaaaase", Emi interferes.
Not knowing what to say Suga turns to Daichi. "Daichi?"
"Well, I don't have a problem with it", he answers in return.
"YAY!" The little girl's excitement knew hardly any limits as Daichi leads the group of three to their garden.
The garden has a moderate size. Not small at all but it could not be considered big either.
It is surrounded with a tall wooden fence and various plants in front of it. There was everything from flowers to vegetables, but never more than a little to keep it easy and simple.
A Volleyball-net is stretched in the back center of the garden because a table with a few chairs and a grill located to the left of the door can be found further in front. Daichi is making his way across the garden to a little shed in the right corner to get a ball.
"What are you waiting for?" he urges the others to follow him.
"Sorry-" Suga says loudly in Daichi's direction before making his way to him, closely followed by the young children who stop at the side of the net near the fence so they would not get in the way of the older players.
Daichi stretches a little before looking at Suga "Are you ready?"
"I'm ready when you are", he answers with a smile.
"Ok then", Daichi says before he throws the ball to Suga who observes his boyfriends movements and as soon as he thinks the time for a set is right he makes sure that his spiker is ready. As expected of the 3rd years, the set and spike perfectly match and Daichi hits the ball hard enough to make it bounce of the ground against the fence and then back to where they are standing.
Suga catches the ball. "Nice kill!"
"That was a pretty good set", Daichi compliments back.
Emi could not contain her excitement after that play. "Whoaaaaa!! That was amazing! How did you do that?"
"Well we practice a lot", Suga answers her.
"Can you show us how to do that?" Atsushi wants to know.
"It takes a lot of time and effort but if you're interested I'm sure I could spare some time..."
"But not today", Daichi interferes much to his siblings disappointment. "Don't you have homework to do?" he adds smugly, knowing it will change the topic.
Emi pouts. "But we're hungry", she complains.
"Yeah. And I don't really understand my math homework", her younger brother adds.
Daichi sighs. "I can help you with math, Atsushi."
"Oh really?!"
"Yeah sure."
"Thank you, Nii-chan!" the small boy runs off in excitement which makes Daichi chuckle again.
Seeing Emi lowering her gaze, Suga turns to Daichi. "Hey Daichi... would you mind if I cook something?"
"Huh?" he looks confused "I mean... I don't mind... but are you sure?"
"Totally. Your sister said she's hungry so I thought while you help your brother with his math homework I could cook something..."
"If you really want to you can do that, Suga."
Emi now had sparkles in her eyes. "Really?! You're literally the best! Nii-chan can we keep him?!"
Both Suga and Daichi are surprised by the girls words, however Suga got embarrassed real quick and makes his way into the kitchen.
"Come now, Emi", Daichi says, leading her to their brother into the living room "let's get some homework done."
The Sawamura siblings all sit down at a table and do their homework together. Suga cooks something to eat for them while Daichi helps the two young childrem finish their math homework.
"Are you done now?" Daichi asks after a while "Or do you have more homework?"
"Atsushi still needs to do English homework but he has a question and I can't answer it... or more like explain it..." Emi answers.
"Oh really? What is it?"
Before Atsushi could answer, Suga enters the living room with a big plate of Omurice. "Take a break and eat something." He smiles.
Emi is the first to jump up from the table. "Yaaay! Finally something to eat!"
"I love Omurice!" her little brother adds.
Suga smiles brightly. "I hope you'll like it.
