Case seemed to be having his own personal pity party for a few days following the movies. Luckily, after a few days of not having to fake a relationship with Brandi, our dynamic trio seems to be back.
Netflix and chill seems to have a new meaning when I can’t get away from the twin dynamic and have Case all to myself. Although I’m snuggling in Case’s lap while he watches Finding Bigfoot, my attention is on winning the game of footsie initiated by Brandi.
“Eeeek! That tickles!” Brandi yells and causes me to laugh like a demented goblin.
“Good, that’ll teach you to have a go at the footsie champion!”
I grab one of her feet with my toes and push only for her to pinch my other foot with her own.
“Ow, ow, ow!” I cry and Brandi lets go.
“Oh my God, would you two chill? I can’t hear anything on the t.v. and with Liza moving around so much on my lap I can’t keep my thoughts on it either.”
I look up at Case with a devilish smirk before rotating my hips some more.
“Ewwww! Not in front of the child!” Brandi yells, shielding her eyes.
“Okay, first, you are no child. Second, why do you have to be such a major cock-block?” Case sneers at her.
“First, Liza was my friend first. I deserve time with her too. And second, I don’t want to watch my brother get a boner, no matter the circumstance.” She scrunches up her face and it makes me laugh.
“Maybe Brandi is right. I haven’t been spending much time with her since...well, you know.”
Case touches noses with me and tries to grab my lips with his own, but I push him away with my finger. Leaning into him, I whisper, “The wait will make it that much better.”
“Oh for Pete’s sake, you guys!” Brandi yells at us and pouts for real this time.
“Sorry, sorry!”
She doesn’t move from her pout so I poke her with my foot. “Looooove you!”
She flicks her eyes my way and starts to smirk, which only makes me throw a couch pillow at her.
“Hey!” She laughs.
“Okay. Since you are sick of looking at Case and me, what do you want to do?”
“Let’s play a game.” She says a little excitedly.
“See, kid.” Case points at her while looking at me and I giggle.
“Whatever. At least I don’t act like an old fart like you!” Brandi sticks her tongue out, only furthering the proof that she is, indeed, a kid.
We are all silent for a moment as we think about what we do when Brandi snorts out a short laugh.
“What?” I ask.
“Remember when we were little and we would play ‘Hide and Go Seek’?”
“Yeeeaaaaah…”
“I still remember when you got stuck under the sink and Dad had to break the vanity to get you out.”
Case laughs, causing me to playfully slap his chest. “Hey! You are supposed to be on my side.”
“But it was so funny! I still remember how red you were that day, it was adorable.”
“Ugh! We were too big to be playing that game. Not my fault there were no good hiding spots left.”
“Were we though?” Brandi asks.
“Huh?” Case looks are her like she’s finally lost it.
“Were we too big? I mean, it was fun, right? And we obviously got a good memory out of it.”
“Yeah, at my expense.” I mumble and cause both of the twins to smile.
“That’s it. I’ve decided. We are going to play ‘Hide and Go Seek’.” Brandi stands from the couch and puts her hands on her hips, proudly. “Come on.” Brandi pulls me off Case’s lap and I miss him already.
“Really? Do I have to?” Case whines.
“Don’t you love me?” Brandi puts on her best puppy eyes and whines at Case.
“You are such a brat. Have I ever told you that?”
“But I’m your brat.” Brandi pokes him for emphasis and I can’t help laugh at their brotherly-sisterly love.
“Fine. Rules?” Case leans back, clearly refusing to get up until everything is ready to go. I can’t help it as my eyes bore into his pecs, clearly visible through his taut shirt. When I finally meet Case’s gaze, he raises an eyebrow, causing me to turn red. How is he able to do that to me, even now?
“It’s ‘Hide and Go Seek’ Case. Do you really need rules?” (Brandi)
“What if we make it more interesting?” (Case)
Brandi glares at Case before replying in a sceptical voice. “How?”
Case scratches his jaw in a bad attempt to look thoughtful. “Our little apartment isn’t that big. Maybe one person hides while the others seek? When the hider is found, the first seeker can hide with them.”
“Okay, why do I have a feeling you aren’t done with these rule amendments?”
“Let’s make things more challenging and also turn out the lights.”
“That sounds interesting.” I bite my lip while looking at Case and Brandi shoves me.
“No! I’ll only do it as long as you two agree to be PG-13. Agree?” Brandi glares at me and I hold my hands up in surrender. “Agree?” She looks to Case.
“Fiiiiiiine.”
