Lu Ping growled lowly under his breath as he stalked away from the Senior Disciple and away from the alley that he had been cornered in, his hands fisting at his sides, trying to take deep breaths in order to keep himself at a calm level. It was beginning to get harder and harder to be neutral to everything. The information that he had been given, that he now knew about the Sea and Mountain gang just made him ever the more nervous and anxious. He was not...to certain that he liked it. Yet he dealt with it because that was truthfully all that he was capable of doing, and what else was he able to do given the situation? Nothing, and so he would simply stay with what he was currently stuck with. A crappy situation, and try to make the best of it, which was making sure that he was not found.
He also had reached another new revelation. Despite how often he seemed to but heads with him, he decided that he also did not like this new...side...of his senior disciple. All of this newly developed concern and worry that he seemed to be showing was more annoying then this as anything else and it was beginning to get on his nerves. He did not understand what exactly it was that had the other realizing that he was being bullied, but he had been aware of the second pair of eyes that had taken to following him almost everywhere. Then again, any time the senior disciple was around the others were quite tame, so he would have to make the conclusion that he Senior Disciple did not want to be seen following him around all over the place, which left more questions then anything else, and if there was something that Lu Ping hated was unanswered questions.
"Ge!" Lu Ping stopped, turning swiftly to face the girl that he had basically adopted. There was really...no other way after all. It was the only thing that he could say to make that one man in black take the girl. The one that he was far more concerned about then himself, and then when he had been taken to the Wind Takers it was the only thing that he could think of at the moment. Though, despite not actually being related they did develop this sibling like relationship also he supposed it worked well enough. "What happened?" He closed his eyes slightly before wrapping his arm around her with a small smile.
"Nothing much," He said gently. She frowned, watching him carefully.
"Seriously, what happened?" She asked, this time a bit more seriously.
"The Senior Disciple seems to have taken an unhealthy interest in observing my every move is all." He said with a small smile, concern lacing her features as he revealed this information.
"That is not necessarily a good thing. If he keeps this up he could be led to un...well unnecessary information that he most certainly should not be having." Lu Ping shrugged one shoulder, but this was already something that he was aware of and it was also something that he had been worried about for quite some time. "Do you know why?" She asked, voice a bit softer, more gentle, as if noticing his drop in mood. Lu Ping rolled his eyes annoyed.
"Who knows? He has not exactly had a good relationship with me from the beginning. As suspicious as he is, I do not doubt that he wants to know more and more, although what has led to that is a mystery, as I have no idea."
"Maybe you made a mistake somewhere." She said eyes watching him careful. Lu Ping sighed heavily.
"I had to have, I just am not entirely certain where. Whatever it is I doubt that I can get him to leave me alone for too long now. I am going to have to be a lot more careful in the coming few months. With the Sea and Mountain gang in town, and now the Senior Disciple keeping his eyes one me at literally every turn...It is going to be a lot more complicated then I previously believed." He spoke, withholding the emotions from his voice, dark eyes scanning their surroundings. "As much as I hate to say it, the WindTakers are in danger, especially if I leave."
"I knew you cared about them." Lu Ping moved away from her impending finger, readying herself to poke his side.
"Perhaps a little." Lu Ping hesitatingly said. His voice showcased very little of the inward worry which he was feeling. However, he was worried. Quite a bit, and it was becoming more and more difficult to hide that fact. "The point is if I leave and they find out that I was a part of the WindTakers it will not matter that I am not there anymore. They will decimate the entire place and run it to the ground, heedless of anything who is there. They will not care. They will probably find it enjoyable." Lu Ping could not hide tHe disgust within his voice as he said this, his fingers shaking slightly as he spoke.
"Hey," Lu Ping swallowed, looking down at his little sister's eyes, careful to avoid showing how much he was worrying over everything. It would not do to make her more worried. "I know you care about them. That is not a bad thing." Lu Ping smiled bitterly.
"Perhaps not, we shall see." Lu Ping continued, pulling her along until they were on par with the rest of the group, not wanting to be seen alone, and even less wanting to be noticed or recognized. He did not know who or how many members of the Mountain and Sea Gang were in the town and he was not entirely certain he wanted to bet his chances. He also did not know which ones were there, he would rather not risk having more then one or two members being there and certain members were far more dangerous then others.
He doubted they would send anyone but mere messengers though, especially since they had no idea where he was. He knew they were looking for him, for information on him but he doubted that they would find anything unless he was too risky. That was why he erased the memories of the fight from those two martial artists minds.
"Come on," He muttered, once more pulling his sister forwards, towards the beginning of the line.
For the first time since entering the WindTakers, he ensured that he and his sister were at the front of the jogging line. It was important if he was going to keep an eye out that he did not have his view obstructed. He did not really care the shock that this held on the others, he barely even noticed the odd looks that he was being given by the other members of the WindTakers.
Though, it really did not matter in the end. He managed to get him and his little charge safely to the institute without seeing anyone from the Sea and Mountain Gang was which was really all that he truly cared about in the first place. The problem came afterwards, when he tried to escape to his hut unnoticed, which of course, did not happen as he was abruptly dragged into one of the storing closets.
Lu ping rolled his eyes, unable to help himself, it was the same two imbeciles from before. He should have guessed such a thing would happen.
"What?" He asked, annoyance coating his tone.
"Why is the Senior Disciple following you now?" One of the idiots asked. Lu Ping crossed his arms staring at them defiantly.
"Do you think I would know that? Why don't you go ask him if you are so curious. He would know more then I would."
In hindsight, he should have expected the backhand hit which connected with his cheek, throwing his head to the side, and forcing him to try and keep his cool. It was not, however, something he anticipated, which left him annoyed, and biting his tongue to stop from doing something stupid.
His exhale was only slightly shaking. He refused to admit anything else. He kept his eyes on the floor, worried what would happen if he did not. Not for the others, no, but what they may see. He never quite was sure when his powers activated, especially when he was emotional. Today had been exhausting and he was not sure if he could keep his eyes clear and regular dark colour they usually were.
"He seems to be rather infatuated with you lately," The second moron said, jealousy coating his tone. Lu Ping frowned.
"Why would that matter?" He muttered, resolutely keeping his eyes towards the ground, trying to calm himself. "I do not know why he is being so annoying,"
Perhaps insulting the senior disciple was not exactly a good move, especially if the second hit to him was anything to go by, and the shove which he received was anything do indicate such things.
"Do not speak ill of the Senior Disciple!" The two shouted. Lu Ping grit his teeth, anger flying through him faster then anything he had felt previously.
"Just get out of my way," Lu Ping growled, eyes flying up to the other two, staring at them, the iris bright crimson red as he did so, causing the other two to stumble backwards frantically. He shoved his way through them, annoyed.
