ONE PIECE CATS

Not Alone

(A/n some chapters may be shorter than others based on what I feel like this is all my emotions in a story)

Waking up this morning I felt myself sigh I cried didn't I? "Mom,Dad i'm still such a crybaby couldn't go a day without feeling alone but I want you to know i'm not suffocating anymore in silence" I smile as I get up moving to take a warm shower washing my worries away as I get out and dry my hair I hear Mihawk meow and what sounds like mewls?

Running with wet hair and a loose tanktop and shorts I stop at my door my heart sinks seeing Mihawk carrying a injured green kitten it looks like it's in bad condition a pink female kitten is meowing distressed. "What happened little fella?" I whisper crouching down and gently taking the green kitten from Mihawk who looks at me with a trusting gaze as I move inside grabbing a first aid kit taking some thread and a needle I work on first cleaning the wound.

Using alcohol I try and dab the wound but the green kitten jolts yowling "MRRRRROWRRRR" I hush whispering comforting words over and over again to soothe the kitten which eventually settles down. The pink kitten yowls and whines swatting Mihawk who's trying to stop the pink kitten from jumping at me.

Once the wounds clean I carefully and quickly as possible stitch the wound close as the thread goes in and out the breathing of the green kitten evens out as panic passes into acceptance I smile once I finish using scissors to cut the string. "There you should be good don't move too much tho" I chide as the green kitten weakly moves it's head bizzare it seems to understand me as well.

"Hey Mihawk friends of yours?" I question as Mihawk shakes his head as he moves setting a paw on top of the pink and green haired kittens the former turns away and the green yowls. "So acquantainces?" I suggest as Mihawk nods while I sigh saying "you scared me Mihawk all three of you" the pink one seemed sympathetic rubbing against my hand meowing at me as I smile petting her head saying "you seemed worried though in a angry way your quite feisty aren't you?" the pink kitten snorts as I chuckle these cats are interesting more so than humans.

The day drags on as I sit against the back of my couch on my laptop scanning through images of flowers for inspiration when a soft mewl makes me look up looking to my left the green kitten limps over as I carefully pick him up mindful of his wound and set him on my lap. "You had quite the shock today I wonder what happened to you?" I console as the green kitten yowls and meows in different pitches as if he was venting his frustration as I listen chuckling here and there as the green kitten purrs.

The pink one pokes her head over the top of my laptop as Mihawk sits by my side watching my screen as I type until the pink one points at a picture of moss than at the green kitten. Based on the yowls from the green one it was a insult I roll my eyes before sighing I need to name these two now.

"Hm Mihawk had a disciple right? His name was Zoro yeah that sounds right and the goth girl what was her name?" I mutter as the green kitten snaps up at hearing Zoro as the pink one huffs. "Perona that was her name" the pink kitten looks at me hearing the name as I smile nodding saying "Alright your now Zoro and Perona" the kittens seem satisfied.

"There was a time when I was all alone" I whisper looking at pictures of families smiling happily as I look at my laptop screen saver a image of a girl sitting all alone people talking in the background. "Meow?" Perona meows questiongly as I sigh saying "I had a happy home once but everything was ripped away from me at once my parents got in a car crash" the kitten seemed sorry for me as she nuzzles my face and curls on my lap by Zoro who looks at me before moving and touching his nose to my cheek as I smile thankful for their support.

Mihawk gently moves his tail that it rests over my wrist as he lays down at my side curling up as he purrs. "Your a blessing in disguise you know?" I speak knowing I won't get a response as I start to close my laptop before an idea hits me I start the camera and make a peace sign with my free hand before setting a new laptop screen saver me with the three cats.

The kittens and Mihawk slept peacefully for hours that I nodded off for a bit and by the time I woke up it was dinner time I carefully set the two kittens down as Mihawk stands alert as he accompanies me to the kitchen where I fix up some leftovers from last night switching up the dressing and instead of rice eating a salad I whipped up. Setting the plate down by the kittens Zoro is the first to stir at the scent of smell his mouth watering as I smile petting his head as he eats.

Perona seemed picky turning her nose up at the food until Mihawk growled at her and she reluctantly ate some of the fish and decided it was okay and ate her fill. "Mihawk what was your life like before you met me?" I wonder a loud as a meow is all I get in response until something changes in the atmosphere. "It was boring until I met Zoro" a low voice speaks as my eyes widen as I look up something had happened Mihawk was no longer a lithe cat he was bigger and human with cat features.

"Y-your human!?" I shout in shock backing away in fear of the strange man in my home. "Don't worry i'm not going to hurt you if that's what your worried about" only now did I notice the large sword on his back I gulp fearful on wether I could trust his word or not. "I'm sorry if you uncomfortable i'll leave" Mihawk states evenly as he moves Zoro and Perona moving to follow as I bite my lip thinking it over I only knew Mihawk for a day but I got attached I sigh saying "please don't go" Mihawk pauses in front of my door before turning a ghost of a smile visible as he nods his head.

"Thank you for letting us stay" Mihawk tells me as I nod saying "I have a couple guest rooms you can pick one" Mihawk nods moving past as he does I get a smell of something familiar. "Cherry blossoms" I whisper in awe watching Mihawk pass that scent appeared in my memories I never could remember why though. "So i'm assuming your human as well?" I ask Zoro and Perona who nod their kitten heads as I sigh well I guess i'll adapt for now I need to catch up on One Piece to understand them better.

"_______ where's your shower?" Mihawk asks from the hallway as I give him directions he nods moving down the hall as I pause does he even have another change of clothes? Standing I move into my fathers old room rummaging for any suitable clothes settling for a black t-shirt and black pants I fold the clothes out after years of no use they were kinda stiff.

Walking too the bathroom I knock hearing nothing but hot water coming from the shower I call out "Mihawk i'll leave a change of clothes for you here-" I stop as the door opens and a broad chest greats me as Mihawk looks down at me water dripping from his hair as he looks at the clothes before at my burning red face. "I'm SORRY TAKE THEM AND GO!" I cry embarassed as hell turning away covering my face after handing him the clothes and running into the living room where Zoro and Perona snicker at my embarassment.

"I'm doomed my social skills are a big fat Zero T-T" Zoro and Perona seemed weirded out at the literal crying face symbol appearing as I wave it away saying "don't mind that some weird things happen sometimes okay when i'm stressed!" the two nod but look unsure. After Mihawk finished the shower he walked out in my dads clothes and looked nice though the tail swishing behind him and ears reminded me that he wasn't fully human at the moment.

"Thanks for the clothes" Mihawk says stoically does he feel no embarassment? I groan saying "well if those two turn back I may need to go shopping for clothes" Mihawk nods meaning I probably will have to do that. "Well i'm heading to bed if they transform Mihawk can deal with this okay" Zoro and Perona meow at me what I think is a goodbye or goodnight. "Have a good sleep _____ Zoro and Perona also with you sweet dreams" the two kittens yowl offended at Mihawk as I chuckle heading upstairs confused but strangely happy.
