"Salama'alaikum" I said as i walked further into the living room
"Wa'alaikumSalaam" they replied, the guy got up extending his hand
"The person I was waiting for" he said
"It is nice seeing you here, but you make me nervous" I said teasingly, he laughed shaking his hand
"What can I do? I make people nervous" he said laughing
I sat next to Raaj who's next to Laah then Deedee, just then the whole group showed up except Jackie and Annie they went to SA to visit Jackie's family, we were going to meet them there.
"So you finally decided to come here huh?"
"Yeah, but its not just a visit, I am here to clear somethings"
"Oh really what things?"
"Well it's about Lian" he said, my heart started beating extra fast
"What about her?"
"Lian didn't leave because of Nailam or her mother actually, well its is involved but not the mea-"
"Lian left because of Nailam and Aunt Lailah?" I asked confused
"Yeah, well Nailam tried commiting suicide years back because she loves yo-" Raaj started explaining
"I was crazy dude and I just liked him, nothing much" she rolled her eyes
"Whatever, anyway she tried commiting suicide three times years back, Aunt Lailah used that as a tool against Lian, she asked Lian to leave you for good and Lian was certain that saying no to a mother is not right, she said she will l think about it and then she left"
"My mother is such a drama queen and my sister can be funny" said Rafiq laughing and eating popcorn, this dude should be 3 not 30
"You remember she has been fainting and having headache days back?" Asked Rahman ignoring Rafiq
"Yeah, I remembered she said Dr Jones will check her up, I asked her about it days after but she said yhe test wasn't out yet"
"Right, well she got the result a day before leaving here, and the result said she has pancreatic cancer" said Rafiq
Lian has cancer!!!! I started breathing hard, my expressionbturning to a frown and other emotions, I was having different kind of emotions at the same time. While the others, they seemed calmed excluding my group
"Lian has cancer?" I asked again
"No she doesn't"
"She doesn't??" Said Raaj smiling widely, something i didn't see in a long time for a person who laughs all the time
