"Still no sign of Alpheus?"
"No. Where could he be?" William asked no one in particular. Kaiko and Will were working hard, staying up lat for the past couple of nights after receiving word that Alpheus had escaped officials.
The kids were still completely unaware and the two knew they had to confront them on this matter soon.
'Maybe its best we let it rest for now. Get some sleep and see what we can find tomorrow while Ant and Fontaine are at Professor Fiction's." Kaiko said with a soft defeated sigh. she was tired of running around chasing this kid.
"Yeah okay. We might have better luck tomorrow, when were actually awake." Will made a halfhearted joke as the couple left the room for a good nights rest.

The sound of her comm going off had her fighting a smile as she remembered who had taken her old one. Quickly finding an excuse to get herself away from the younger boys she hid in one of her many secret hiding places.
"finally deciding to use that are you? after stealing it off me nearly six months ago." Putting on the angriest tone she could muster, she quipped out the unusual greeting.
"And here I thought you'd be excited to hear from me." Finn retorted, a smirk evident in his voice. Fontaine rolled her eyes with a fond but playful quirk of the lips.
"Quite dreaming pirate boy." Finn chuckled before changing the subject.
"I have many dreams."
"I don't even want to know." The brunette cut in before he could continue, though a tiny bit of her, she hates to admit it, is curious.
"Suit yourself. So how you been?" Fontaine blinked at the softness of his voice, it was sweet of him to ask honestly.
"I've been good..." She trailed off feeling her pulse steadily rise as a blush came to her cheeks. "You?" She knew he didn't want to be a pirate and she knew was tough on him about his inability to pick a side, she probably always will be like that; at least until he chooses. However, she still wanted some honesty.
"I'm okay," A lie, "I'd be better if you here though." His soft tone had yet to change, which made this moment feel... intimate.
Fontaine blew air past her lips in a small sigh, a small blush rising to her ears as she tried to steady her heartbeat.
"So where are you now, traveling the seven seas?" Fontaine joked, she heard his low chuckle and grinned.
"I could say the same thing." He responded. With a smile she leaned back and kicked her feet out in front of her.
"actually, I'm just chilling. We're having a day off." She responded only to hear a snort, the mocking sound confusing her lightly.
"The Nektons? A day off? Never thought I'd hear those words in a sentence together." Fontaine rolled her eyes.
