Chapter 18: The First Task
Harry screamed out in frustration.
"WHY CAN'T I GET IT!!!" Harry roared
"Harry love, we can do it."
"Mione the task is tomorrow morning. In fact." He said glancing at the clock the room of requirement had materialised. "The task is in 8 hours."
"Shit!" Hermione exclaimed
"Try again Harry. Concentrate." I say
"Accio pillow." Harry said with more of frustrated sigh. The pillow he was summoning zoomed straight towards him. His face was filled with delight. He was jumping up and down in glee.
"Well done Harry!" We all congratulate Harry.
"Wait if eet ees past your curfew 'ow are me and Gabby going to get down to ze carriage?" Fleur asked
"Well there is two things you could do. 1: Is you could ask the room to provide you two with a door to the carriage. Or you could stay with us and we can get the room to give us all private rooms."
"If we are being 'onest zhen I think zhat eet would be wiser if we were to stay 'ere zhen me, 'Arry and Odessa can be early to ze first task tomorrow."
"Good luck with that Fleur." We laugh.

"Leo can I talk to you?" I am shook awake by Fleur.
"Sure." I say groggily.
"Can you look after Gabi for me while me, Odessa and 'Arry battle our dragons."
"Of course. "
"Protect her from zhat red haired boy who was staring at my bosom."
"Oh don't worry Fleur he won't want to come near me and he knows that you guys are practically sisters to us and he knows or at least he should that I will fiercely protect my family."
"Well I am honoured zhat you consider us family already. And if you are so sure Zhan I know that my sister is safe with you." Fleur replied and then proceeded to wake Odessa and Harry up. We waved them off and our hearts were in our throats. I was past myself with worry. We all then trundled down to the first task stadium.
"I am scared. " Gabrielle whispered
"What about?" I asked the younger Delacour.
"Zhe dragons."
"Oh c'mon, they'll be fine Harry knows the summoning charm. Your sister and Odessa are seventh years they can beat the dragons." Hermione whispers. We all took our seats. After about 15 minutes Ludo Bagman came out of the tent.
"Our first champion is Odessa McAllister with her Dragon the Swedish short snout Dragon." Odessa came out and cheers erupted and we were on the edge of our seats. Odessa transfigured a rock into a dog. This distracted the dragon just enough for Odessa to sneak up and take the egg. Odessa began to back away but the dragon realised what was happening and let a rage filled sigh out causing fire to emit and Odessa managed to dodge it slightly but still ended up being burned. Odessa victorious with her egg headed to the hospital tent.
