Souga, busting the main power source of the area has bought you an adequate amount of time. The task at hand is to stealthily escape there immediately before it goes back on, and also without getting caught.

Halfway through the escape route, Souga and you immaculately reached the exterior ground floor. The patio is the most efficient route among the areas inside the (Last name)'s residence. Though there will be guards appointed at that area regardless.

All of sudden, worry washed over you. It was risky and nerve-wracking for you to do this but you are aware that retreating is never an option.

You study the armed guards appointed near the back gate intently. Incredulity is written on your face. "Is father always this paranoid?" you huffed.

Souga has also his attention on his fellow guards. He was trying to figure out a strategy on how to slither through them. "Shush. It's always been like this." he harshly replied.

He's somewhat pissed at the fact how you could manage to complain amidst an ominous situation the both of you are in.

Apologetically, you mouthed a soft sorry.

The sudden breaking of the main power source led your father to a foreboding that some potential intruder may have broken in the vicinity. With that, your father's armed men were ordered to monitor the area thoroughly.

Making sure every coast is clear, Souga advances forward with you being held tightly on the wrist. You ran across the other side and concealed yourselves behind the parked cars.

"OI SOUGA."

Unfortunately, one of Souga's coworkers caught him but luckily you're able to reach the rear side of the car before the man turned. Holding your breath, you scooted back. You pressed your back against the wheel, and kept your feet close to you.

"Aren't you in charge... what are you doing behind there?"

The both of you exchanged oh-crap-looks in a brief moment. Souga stood, and stepped out without hesitance. "My cufflink fell beneath the car..." he uttered, hoping the man would fall for that.

His coworker steps forward, then willingly offered. "I can get them for 'ya." Before he could take a step closer towards the car, Souga stopped him on time.

"What's the matter?" the man asked inquisitively. He looked at Souga with a skeptical look.

"Aren't you afraid of raccoons?"

You were utterly confused upon hearing that from Souga. Why would he suddenly bring that.

"Yes." The man replied  reluctantly. You noticed the man's voice quivered for a bit.

You can't believe one of your father's employees is afraid of raccoons. You can't blame him. Everyone has their own fears too. "Is there one beneath that car?" he then asked in a cautious tone.

(Fun fact that is actually not that interesting: I'm afraid of balloons. What's yours?)

Souga nodded. "Yes." he turned his head and locked eyes with you. "A pretty one." he mumbled to himself. After realizing what he just said, a pink tint dusted his cheeks.

"What was that?"

"I said it's horrifying." Souga quickly responded, clearing his throat. "Uh... I heard raccoons are capable of giving off rabies with only a drop of their saliva." He added, intending to scare his coworker.

The man let out a scoff. "That's just absurd." he said. He can't seem to buy Souga's statement but eventually, his personality changed. "Either way, I'm not taking any chances. Also, the reason why I'm here is to tell you that the boss wants to see you right now." he informs.
