Unspoken Troubles [on hold]

Chapter 4

My brother was angry to say the least, finding out what happened to me. I had a tight grip on the chair and it broke.

"What the hell..." I looked at the chair confused.

"Car. Calm down. We will sort this out."

I nod in response.

"Obviously considering what happened to you Carly you have options. We can admit you right now to take care of this." The doctor told me.

My head snapped up. "You better not be saying what I think you are doctor. I do not believe in that."

"Car, you need to think about this, listen to the doctor. If you do this now, this is all over." My brother tried to reason.

"Leo! This is not an option for me. How could you tell me to do this?" I asked him shocked.

"This pregnancy will be hard on you because of the kind of person you are" The doctor said

"Enough, she has made her decision doctor. Time for you to go"

"What was he talking about Leo?" I ask once the doctor has left.

"Look I will discuss this later. There is some stuff I need to tell you. But not here." He had a serious look on his face that meant he wouldn't tell me now.

Tiff made good on her promise and ran to me after our examinations. She cried when I told her the news. Her mum wouldn't let her stay the night at our house but promised we would see each other the next morning.

When Leo and I got home, our father was sitting on the front patio. His suitcases were next to him.

He looked up at me with disgust. "I'm not sticking around anymore for failure children. Your mother would be disappointed in you Carly."

"ENOUGH!" Leo yelled. "You are the only disgrace in this family. You will not treat her like this. She's been through hell this past month and you don't care. Mum would be disappointed in YOU"

He didn't say anything, the man that was my father. He just picked up his suitcase and walked to his car.

Leo wrapped his arm around my shoulders and led me into the house. Sitting me on the couch.

"Now Car, I need you to listen, not interrupt and just understand.

We are moving. Don't worry, Tiff is coming too. Both of our families are moving. You, your special. This isn't gunna be easy for you to hear. You can turn into a wolf on your birthday."

I laughed. "Be serious Leo I'm not in the mood for jokes"

"I am serious Car. Everything changes on your birthday. You are already showing signs. That chair you broke in anger? The one thing I don't get is why you didn't change under the circumstances.."

I felt cold.. I started shivering. This was too much.

"Leo..." I whispered. He then seemed to notice my discomfort

"I know this is a lot Car. I need you to calm down. This isn't healthy. You will be fine once we get to the pack. They will take car of you, of us, of your baby."

I stiffened, remembering my predicament, my baby.

"Leo, people will think I'm a slut..."

"I can't promise they won't but we know the truth. And so does the alpha."

"Alpha?" I say to him looking confused.

"Our wolves are pack animals and we are governed by alphas. When we found you I contacted him. He knew of the situation. He had been keeping tabs on us since mum died and our father left the pack. He wants us in the pack house until things calm down. "

I was so lost. I didn't know what to say. I just nodded.

"I'm going to bed.." I told him.

"Good. We have a big day tomorrow. We are leaving in the morning. Tiff is coming in my car with us. You two will need each other tomorrow."
