Neville and I were at the bridge, looking out to make sure no Death Eaters came this way. Despite the force field that surrounded all of Hogwarts, it was best to still guard the place. You never know what could happen.

As Neville looked out, I heard faint yelling coming closer and closer. I tapped Neville on the shoulder. "Neville, do you hear that? It sounds like..." I trailed off as both of us craned our necks to look towards the entrance. There were so many Death Eaters. Too many to count. My eyes widened slightly as they continued to run towards us, screaming at the top of their lungs.

The first few Death Eaters disintegrated when they past the force field. Seeing this, all the others stopped abruptly, not wanting the same to happen to them.

I let out a quite sigh of relief. I was so thankful for the force field that protected us.

"Yeah, you lose!" Neville mocked.

"You can't get to us!" I smirked.

Unfortunately, we spoke to soon. Some flaming piece of I don't know what came floating down, passed where the force field was supposedly at and Scabior, who was at the front of the army, pushed it away with the tip of his wand.

He took a slow, cautious step foward, and when nothing happened, I could see the wicked smile on his face, despite the darkness of the sky. Scabior let out a battle cry, the others copying a second later. They came rushing towards us.

"AHHH!" I screamed, grabbing Neville's hand and sprinting away from the Death Eaters. What in the world happened to the force field?

Trying to run away, dodge tons of spells that were directed towards me, and attempting to shoot spells behind me all at once was not the easiest thing to accomplish.

Neville shot a spell that made the bridge start to fall apart. Many Death Eaters weren't able to run fast enough, leading them to their death.

I spotted Ginny, Seamus and a few others standing by, waiting for us to catch up to them. All the bad guys had fallen, and now, it was Neville and I trying not to fall. Not being fast enough, I felt the ground under my feet disappear, and I fell. Luck was on my side, as both Neville and I caught ourselves, our hands holding tight to the wood that remained stable.

We managed to get to safety with a little help from Ginny and Seamus when they realized we weren't dead.

"That went well." Neville said. I let out a breathy laugh. I'm so glad we aren't dead.

Ginny, Neville, and I ran into the castle, pushing past students and  going up the stairs where Harry called out to us. "Are you alright?" Harry asked us.

"Never better." Answered Neville energetically. "Feel like I can...spit fire. You haven't seen Luna have you?"

"Luna?" Harry repeated.

"I'm mad for her! I think it's about time I told her, since we'll probably both be dead by dawn!" Neville ran away to go looking for Luna.

As I watched him fade away, one of the rushing students harshly bump his shoulder into mine, resulting in me stumbling backward."Hey!" But before I could find out who it was, Harry grasped my arm and pulled me with him.

"We're going to the Room of Requirement; the room of hidden things. That's where Ravenclaw's lost diadem is at." He informed me while we ran.

We stopped at the wall where the door to the room hid. Both of us closed our eyes, thinking about what we truly needed: the room of hidden things.
After hearing the door appeared, I opened my eyes. Harry and I entered the crowded area filled with useless junk.

Memories of the night I broke up with Draco entered my brain, but i quickly shook them out. There was no need of remembering that night.

Harry's voice broke me out of my reverie. "Let's split up. We'll cover more area if we search in different places."

"What does it look like? How do I know if it's the Horcrux?" I asked.

Harry explained what it looked like and told me to do my best to search for it. We split up, foraging around for the tiara. After rummaging for about 5 minutes, I heard voices.

Curious, I walked closer to where the voices spoke, and I saw Harry speaking with Draco, who was holding up his wand defensively. Zabini and Goyle stood on either side of Draco, slightly behind him. They too were holding up their wands.

"Why didn't you tell her?" Harry asked. "Bellatrix. You knew it was me. You didn't say anything."

Goyle walked up to Draco and whispered something in his ear; I couldn't quite figure out what it was. I decided whatever it was he had said, it wasn't good.

Quietly, I stepped over to Draco, ignoring Zabini and Goyle. I stood behind Draco and put my left arm around his shoulder and my right arm over the arm the held his wand. I felt him flinch just a little at the sudden contact, but slowly relaxed under my touch. I brought his arm down, moving the wand away from Harry and whispered, "Don't. Please, for me, don't do it."

"Expelliarmus!" A feminine voice shouted and the wand Draco held fell out of his grasp.

He gasped and made a run for it, taking me with him, which took me by surprise.

"Avada Kedavra!" Goyle yelled, but missed his target.

As we ran, I heard Ron yell, "That's my girlfriend, you numpty!" He gained on Goyle, and to defend himself, Goyle casted the fiendfyre spell.

Bad idea.

The fire took shape of a giant snake, and Goyle couldn't put it out.

"Goyle, you idiot!" I scolded. My eyes grew wide as the fiery snake began to chase us. Ron and I were the first to run.

"AHHHHHHHH! AHHHHH!" Ron yelped.

As soon as I spotted Harry and Hermione I cried out to them. "RUUUUUN!"

"Goyle set the bloody place on fire!"

We all ran as fast as we could from the fire, trying to get away and attempting to prevent the fire from growing even more. But nothing helped. Luckily, Ron found a few brooms. We mounted them and flew away from the growing fire.

As we flew towards the exit, we past Draco and Blaise who were desperately trying to climb a pile of junk to survive. I turned to my friends. "Draco! We can't leave him! Or Zabini!"

"She's joking right?" I heard Ron ask.

"Y/n's right. We need to get them!" Harry agreed. We turned back around and made an attempt to save them but failed.

"If we die for them, Harry, I'm gonna kill you!" Ron threatened.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "You can't kill him if we're already dead, Ron!"

After a second attempt, I managed to grab Draco's hand and hoisted him up on my broom. He wrapped his arms around my waist tightly and buried his head in the crook of my neck. My cheeks warmed up a bit and I was positive it wasn't from the fire.

We made it out of the room and we fell off the brooms. Draco protectively kept his arms around me as we made contact with the stone floor. Quickly getting up, he held his hand out to me. "Come on."

I unwillingly refused. As much as I wanted to stay with the boy I love, I couldn't ditch Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

After Draco left with Zabini, I realized Harry had destroyed the locket and Ron had kicked it into the Room of Requirement. The doors closed and we were left panting.

Oh, the things I do.
