Chapter 5: Me, You
• • •
So how did Tengo end up with pro hero Eraserhead in her living room, talking about her quirk?
Long story short, Tengo had a plan, and the heroes were helping her, unknowingly, that is.
Aizawa narrowed his eyes "Why are you telling me this?"
The female shrugged "I have my reasons"
Of course they did, Aizawa was getting rather tired of hearing that. But knowledge of her quirk further confirmed Nezu's speculation about the incident.
"And those are?" The probability she'd tell him was low, but she seemed rather open tonight, for someone in the underground, and Aizawa was willing to take his chances.
Tengo raised a brow at the hero, scrutinizing him for a moment.
"Oh nothing too big, just to remind someone about something" she waved a hand, a smile on her lips.
It was Aizawa's turn to raise a brow.
A second passed.
He sighed "And you'd be willing to return them back?"
Tengo hummed, resting her cheek on her palm. She was planning to do that anyways, if not Izuku would be utterly livid.
He's been ignoring her after that failed attempt at infiltrating UA to mark the students, as per his request, speaking of which, she should probably explain. Her quirk is named [World Crossing]; it allows her to pull things or people from or to other dimensions. For her to do that, the thing either needs to be in the exact same place in the other dimension, or she marks the thing she wants transported. The mark allows her to make a connection from this to the other world. It, however, causes a huge strain to her body, not to mention, for a time, she needs to see, as she likes to call it, and trust me, you do not want to experience that. It also has a cool down, because she'd die if she used her quirk non stop.
"Sure"
Aizawa waited.
"But only if I can bring along Haiiro"
Aizawa sighed, figured as much.
"Why would you need him for this?"
She shrugged "Personal reasons"
Of course it is.
"I'll see if we can arrange that"

Of course they could arrange it.
So now the day has come, where they let one vigilante and his contact willingly enter UA.
Aizawa glared at both their backs as they walked down the cobble path, this was such a risky move.
Nezu was leading them, making conversation, of all things, with the girl – Tengo.
"So you need to mark them, I see. How do you do so exactly?"
"Well, I have this sort of seal thing I need to manually produce. Each one is different, even for the littlest things. It needs about an hour for large groups or objects" she explains.
Nezu smiled gleefully while beside her, Haiiro's eye twitched. He was still rather frustrated with her, but at least she was doing this now. Though he wished she would shut up, the mammal was collecting information from her left and right. She just wasn't good with things like this, and it doesn't help the rat bastard was one of the smartest.
"Where will we be meeting the students anyhow" he asked, before any more words were exchanged between them.
Surely not the dorms, and the classroom is too risky seeing as it is within close proximity to other students.
"The training grounds will suffice! The students are already gathered there, no?"
Eraserhead simply grunted in confirmation.

1-A was chatting noisily in said location, curiously sharing thoughts about this whole situation.
Aizawa-sensei had informed them about how they might just have a way back a few days ago, and everyone was buzzing with excitement.
"We didn't even get to explore some more" Kaminari slumped his shoulders.
"It's really dangerous, we don't know the consequences of staying here for long, we should be glad there's a way back" Yayaorozu stated.
"I mean yeah, but..." He was rather curious about what else this place has to offer, after all, it's not everyday you get transported to another dimension.
Uraraka and Midoriya were just talking when suddenly, the green haired male turned to look at the entrance.
"Deku-kun?"
His head snapped back to her "Ah, it's nothing, just–"
The doors opened.
Class 1-A's attention immediately trained on the two new people beside Nezu.
"Ah, it's him, Haiiro!" Uraraka said in surprise.
"That's him?" Mina piqued in curiously "He's a bit... Lesser than I expected in regards to looks"
"He's wearing a mask, how can you even tell?"
"No no no, I mean his outfit! It has no..."
"Glamour?" Aoyama joined them, posing as he did so.
Don't forget the sparkles.
"Yeah!" Mina snapped her fingers "It needs more pizzazz!"
"Isn't it practical though? It helps him go unnoticed" said Yayaorozu.
"Indeed, with that, he can easily blend in with the crowd" Iida stated.
Mina pouted "Well, at least have some fun with your outfit"
"But isn't wearing less flashy clothing more advantageous? As Iida said, it helps to blend in with the crowd, it allows for more movement, you have less chances for being spotted, it's faster and easier to wear and take off in case you need a quick change, not to mention if your worried about branding then being less is the way to go in a place where everyone tries to do so much, in that way you divert–" Midoriya started muttering.
Mina laughed "Alright I get it I get it!" She raised her arms in surrender.
"You all have good points, but he just has no fashion sense"
They all turned their heads towards the voice, seeing the female that was with Haiiro approach them.
"Hi, I'm Jurez Tengo" she extended her had with a smile towards the green haired male, which caused him to stop muttering.
"A-Ah, Izuku Midoriya!" He shook her hand, returning her smile.
Her eyes lit up at this, lips tilting slightly more upwards.
Midoriya's eyes then turned to look behind her almost instinctively.
"Ah" Haiiro paused, meeing his bright eyes.
Tengo turned to look behind her as well, seeing the three catching up to her, having sprinted towards the green haired male.
"I've heard you've already met? Anyways, this is Haiiro!" The whole class' attention was on them now, having seen how the girl sprinted towards Midoriya specifically. Their curiosity rose.
The mentioned male hesitantly rose a hand and gave a wave. He was different from how the three remembered him from that first meeting with the freckled teen.
"Uh– hi"
A/N: Next chapter, I swear, we'll start with the main part, but hey, they've met properly at last! Here's this short chapter for now though.
