Sorry for being inactive. School is a pain. ugh, AP European History, yeah I'm actually taking this class myself, is no joke. 90% of my time goes to homework and studying. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy! I'll try to update more often.

-------------------

School has been in session for three weeks now, and everyday has been the same. I'd get to school, arriving with Hiru and Jian, but we'd go our separate ways as soon as we stepped foot on campus. Then, I would attend all of my classes making contact with a few acquaintances I made. My lunches were always spent in the back with the dancers, aka Out From Under Crew, but they called themselves a tribe as opposed to a crew. I brought my camera along with me pretty much everyday to take photos of them. Finally, my last two periods always went by without any trouble.

I wouldn't say that I was getting comfortable with Colorado life. I'd still get ridiculed for saying "oh my gosh" and "like" a lot. Who knew that it was mainly a Californian thing? However, the main thing I couldn't get over was the weather. Here, it was already getting cold enough to wear sweaters, thick cardigans and jeans. Back home, I'd be going to school in a v-neck and shorts if I wanted to, and I did most of the time. It was hard to fight the urge to just leave without throwing some type of long sleeve on, but my weakness to the cold always got the better of me.

If you were wondering, Phil is doing fine. He sleeps a lot, especially in my room to avoid Jian. Yeah, they don't get along well. Whenever they are in the same room, Phil crawls into my lap and hisses, while Jian makes threatening faces. I figured that Jian isn't the kitten type. It is pretty funny to me. Phil really likes Hiru though. Whenever Hiru is home, Phil would scratch at the door in order to get into Hiru's room, which pretty much proves that he likes Hiru more, but I'm kind of okay with it. Kind of.

It was still weird to me. In these three weeks of school, I've never seen Hiru or Jian. Sometimes it felt like we weren't even in the same school, until one day. In the first month of school, it was allowed to change your schedule if it was messed up over the all of the chaos of planning over a thousand students classes. Well, I guess Jian was one of them. My last two periods were AP European history, and Algebra 2. Yeah, not really exciting, but now, Jian was in them. Now we had two classes together. It was something I was neutral about, really. I always saw him at home, so seeing him at school wasn't a big deal. And, hey, maybe I could get help from him once in a while.

On his first day of class, he was assigned to sit somewhat behind me in another aisle next to some girl. I sat with Daniel from Out From Under. I couldn't really talk to Daniel though. AP Euro's teacher, Mr. Kelly, liked to talk a lot so we ended up just listening to him most of the time. However, whenever he wasn't talking, we laughed and talked and joked around. We got really close and comfortable with each other. So close, in fact, it seemed like we knew each other from before. So comfortable, that we never noticed when we got really loud. Daniel and I got in trouble for disrupting the class, and Jian stared at me the entire time. It made me a bit uncomfortable.

Algebra II rolled around and Mr. Wilson had me sit in the front. Another guy from Out From Under sat next to me. He basically had to beg Mr. Wilson though. It was a pretty funny debate. Somehow it got from getting good grades, to the safety of the universe from the alien armada. Yeah, I really don't know. When Mr. Wilson finally gave in, we didn't talk much, it was Algebra II after all. I wanted to understand as much as possible. However, when we did, we'd both end up laughing or at least trying to hold in the laughter. Jian, again glared at me.

After the last bell rang, I walked with Jian to our car. "So Jian." It was weird. I haven't talked to him in so long, and we lived in the same house. "So Ailee." he mimicked my tone. "Hey...are you mad at me?" I hugged my textbooks in my arms. I wouldn't like Jian being mad at me. I've actually grown accustomed to liking him. "What makes you say that?" he avoided eye contact. Was he lying? "Well, you've been staring at me in class... rather angrily. Did I do something?" We reached the car and he opened his side. "You know Ailee. I don't want to talk about it. I don't really know myself." and he climbed inside. Wow. I know I did something, but what did I do?
