Fortunately Disha passed a scholarship exam held at her school and therefore got into the same college Arun was in. Unaware of what was waiting for them both.

'Bell rang,' students rushed out to the canteen area and gathered there in crowds. Since it was the first day of the new academic year, everyone was busy introducing themselves to each other. Meanwhile Disha was hanging out with some of her mates, Arun broke out of the crowd from nowhere and spilled his cup of hot coffee over Disha, staining her new dress which she had especially borrowed from one of her friends for her first day of college.

This is when everyone noticed a girl with two ponies, weaning a knee high bubble sleeved old fashioned frock, with a broken bagpack and chained spectacles. The seniors at the college started bullying and mocking her for her looks and splashed water over her and her friends. Arun too made fun of her instead of apologizing or being sorry and handed her a napkin to get herself cleaned.

As soon as Disha wiped her face off with the napkin, the crowd bursted into laughter even louder than before. Unaware about what had happened, Disha looked surprisingly at everyone trying to figure out what was wrong. Her friend Aanchal dragged her to the girl's washroom. The moment Disha looked into the mirror, she yelled her throat out as her whole face was covered with black thick grease. She tried to get rid of it by washing it off over and over again but the stain was so strong that it refused to go away.

Disha was shattered. She had never thought her first day could get so worse. She was saddened to the core of her heart. From the day onwards, she knew Arun was the first to be in her bad books. She made sure she never crossed paths with him again.

Everytime Arun tried approaching her, she changed her direction.

Arun had started feeling bad and guilty for what he had done the first day. He somehow wanted to apologize to her but she never let him get close. Arun's group never left a chance of roasting Disha in front of a crowd. Disha was a bright student. Her only focus was to study and reach heights so she did everything possible to avoid such trolls and negativity.

Once Disha was studying with her friends in the garden when one of Arun's friends called her up saying it was an emergency. Innocent Disha stood up and went with him. He took somehwere farther from the garden where it was completely isolated. Disha sensed something was going wrong and tried to run away but he got hold of her and forced her to get into the empty library. Disha tried hard to get rid of his grip but failed miserably. He dragged her into the librabry and tried molesting her. Suddenly the door slammed open, Arun caught his friend and took up a dirty fight. He broke his nose and limbs and was taken away in am ambulance. Disha sighed with relief and thanked Arun for his favour. Arun asked her if she could forgive him for what he had done the first day. He asked her out for a coffee and said he would be obliged and think she has forgiven him if she agrees to go out for a coffee with him. Disha simply smiled and walked away saying nothing.

Later that day, she discussed it with her friend Aanchal about how her looks caused her all the mocking. "You are the most beautiful of all." Said Aanchal. "You just need the right grooming." She added. "Don't worry. Trust me."

Bean cafè, 5:30 p.m. Arun had been waiting for 30 minutes already when the door flew open, a girl in a red flared gown, sparkling eyes and all dolled up entered into the cafè trying to locate someone. Arun was just lost in her eyes and didn't even realise for a second that it was Disha herself standing near the entrance. Arun got back to his senses and waved at her. He stood up and escorted her to the table, pulled the chair and seated her comfortably. "I never thought you would come." "You look so different today." Said Arun surprisingly. "Yes, i could see you not being able to take your eyes off me." Replied Disha with a smile on her lips. "I have no words to describe how beautiful you are." Complimented Arun and Disha turned pink. They ordered a cup of coffee for each and chatted for hours. Suddenly Disha stood up and was ready to leave when Arun grabbed her hand and asked, "when are we going on a date again?" "A date?" Asked Disha. "I never thought this was a date." She added. "You are wearing the colour of love and you say you didn't think this was a date?" He asked. She held his hand, looked into his eyes for a minute. They both stared at each other, their eyes met. She let his hand down and left.
