"Being in love can never be easy, it looks like walking on a bed of roses but when watched closely, it takes the person to walk on the bed of coal."

So even before the preparations would take up an accelaration, there was something desperately waiting to give it a break.

"Sssccreeeecccccchhhhh." Said the tyres as the car came to hault all of a sudden. "What's wrong with you Arun I drive better than you even at this age." "Let me take over." Said the father. "Dad, sorry i got distracted by something." "I'll be careful from now on." Said Arun.

Arun and his father stepped into the Manyavar showroom to get him the best sherwanis of all time for his grand, royal wedding. Arun was extremely excited until something left him stunned.

"Disha?" "What is she doing here?" "Who's that guy by her side?" Said Arun to himself. "Beta, look I've found something fabulous for you. You need to see this." Said the father. "Baba, I'll be back in a minute." Arun said and ran out of the showroom in a haist.

He tried stalking the two but lost their sight as he got  blocked off by a huge bus on his way to the opposite road. When the bus moved, he couldn't see them as they had gone far off from his proximity. He went back to the showroom with disappointment. "What happened my son?" Asked his father. "Nothing dad I am fine." Arun replied. He tried calling Disha but her phone wasn't in the network coverage.

"Dad, let's come some other day. I am not in the mood to shop today. I feel sick." Said Arun sadly and they went away.

He kept on calling Disha the whole day but got no response. He had started being sceptic and doubtful. The starting thinking of the various possibilites of what could have happened and went crazy. He tore apart all his pillows, threw away his stuff, messed up his bedsheet, pulled his own hair and started screaming at the top of his voice.

It had been 2 days now and there was no sign of Disha. He went insane. He called up his old friends and asked to join them at a club for drinks. He drank all night and had a bad hangover. He woke up with red eyes and a stinky mouth the next day. His nose was running and couldn't stop coughing.

He decided to go to Disha's house to know what had gone wrong with her and in a drunk state he drove to her house. As he reached there, he found a big lock on the door. The windows were tightly shut and there was no sign of presence in the house.

He sat there till noon and when nobody came, he decided to leave. On his way back home, he got caught by the cops under drink and drive case and got dragged to the prison as he wasn't even carrying his licence along. Few hours later, his father reached the station and got his bail. "Don't you know how cruicial these elections are for me?" "Even a single blunder or gossip can ruin my entire reputation." Said the father. "I don't care baba." Said Arun, wiping off his running nose with his hand.

"Disha could never cheat me, could she?" Added Arun. "My son these girls I tell you. It's their job to trap such handsome and rich boys for their welfare." "You should have trusted me." Said the father. "Oh please leave me alone. Leave me alone." Shouted Arun.

"I want Disha." "I want Disha." "I can't live without her." Yelled Arun. A normal sane boy had turned into a stubborn, insecure and doubtful lover. "I never thought this relation could turn this toxic for me." He said to himself even before knowing the truth or the genuine reason behind Disha going missing.

Suddenly a thought rose in his mind. "What if she is in danger and needs me?" Asked Arun to himself. I need to go and find her. He decided to go by her house until she comes back.

He went there everyday in hope of seeing her but she never appeared.

One night as he was sleeping drunk, his phone suddenly rang. "Hello hmmm?" Arun groaned. "Hello Arun it's me Disha." Whispered Disha. Arun stood up and sat instantly "where the hell were you Disha?" "Don't you know i've turned mad in search of you." "You've made me crazy." Said Arun without even taken a single breath. "Relax Arun I'm fine I need you to trust me. I can't narrate the whole situation right now. I'll meet you at the same bean cafè tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. see you there," said Disha. "But i saw you with a......" before Arun could speak further, Disha disconnected the call.

Arun didn't sleep that night, he was completely engrossed with the same thoughts of who could Disha have been with the whole time.

Arun reached the cafè as said the next day, he went up to Disha's table and restlessly started interrogating her. "One second Arun. Let me breathe." Said Disha. "I haven't done anything wrong and let me tell you I haven't cheated on you so relax. I know what you must have been thinking all this time. The guy you saw me with that day, was my cousin Jay. He and his father happened to visit Mumbai for some labour work so they came up to meet us. While their stay at our house, they got a call from their native Jharkhand that Jay's mother had fell of the terrace and had badly injured herself. We all had to go there to see her as she was all alone and had nobody to look after her" she added. "You could have atleast informed me." Said Arun. "I wanted to and that is why as I took my phone to call you, it slipped off my hands and broke." "That day when you saw me with Jay, we were both going to buy a mobile for myself. I couldn't call you even after that as I had no time to purchase a new sim in Jharkhand and had to wait until I reached Mumbai." She said.

"Oh my love! I was so worried for you." Said Arun holding Disha's hand. "What's this on your hand Arun?" Said Disha shockingly. She saw cut marks on his hands. "Oh these. Nothing just a little frustration and fear of losing you." Said Arun and hugged Disha.

"Baby, let's start our wedding preparations together from tomorrow." "I can't wait to take you home as my wife." Arun said. "I love you Arun." "I love you too Disha."
