"Manager, approval nyo lang po for this" Thalia handed me a folder.
Walang buhay ko iyon inabot at pinirmahan "Coffee po, gusto nyo?" Aniya.
I looked at her and smiled, lifeless "No need, Thalia. You're my Assistant Manager, not my Secretary okay?"
Tipid itong ngumiti "Mukha po kasi kayong malungkot" she said softly.
Gulat akong napatingin sa kanya. Is it too obvious? "I can handle it but thank you for your concern. You can go back to your work now"
Pagkalabas ni Thalia ay agad akong napasimangot at napabuntomg hininga. Yesterday was a disaster. Who would've thought that i would slap him?
Hindi sya nagalit sa akin o kung ano man. Hinayaan nya ang akong sampalin sya. It's just that after he said those 3 words, everything that had happened in the past came up into my mind.
If he really loves me after everything, Why didn't he atleast call me or check up on me? Or win me back? He didn't do anything in that four years!
I went straight home after my shift. Kailangan ko pang mag-impake para sa seminar namin at bukas na yon. Ang sabi sa akin ay may maghahatid sa amin na van sa LRS. Ang iba ay magsasarili at magkokotse na lang.
"Ayos na ba lahat, 'nak?" Tanong ni Mama.
Nilagay ko sa tabi ng aking kama ang maleta "Opo, 'ma. Naayos ko na lahat"
Ngumiti sya "Mabuti"
Morning came. I did my morning routine, ate my breakfast and went straigh ahead to LRS. Pagkapasok ko sa van ay naroroon sina Mr. Soriano.
Ngumiti ito sa akin "Goodmorning, Manager Valeria"
Ngumiti ako pabalik "Morning"
Magkatabi kami sa Van. Mr. Soriano is still young. I'm guessing maybe 25-27 years old? He's good looking also. His face screams dominance just like Lorenzo.
"Is this you first time to attend a seminar?" He asked.
