On all the birthdays I have ever been to, I have always heard the guest ask what the celebrant wishes for his birthday.

"What's your birthday wish, Tyler?" An old woman ask right after he blew his candle.

Tyler just smiled "It's a secret" he glanced at me

I smiled at him and mouthed a happy birthday.

On a sunny saturday, a party is being held at Tyler's house.

Wearing my white lace tank top and a high waisted shorts pair with cardigan and black shoes.

I saw a bunch of girls wearing their beach dresses. It's a pool party.

Some guys are at the pool and having fun. Some are eating and some are drinking beers.

I felt the sun's heat on my skin. I removed my cardigan. My shoulder are now exposed.

"Inumin mo ito" Jamie handed me a drink

"What's this?"

We're sitting at their lounge chairs. I sniffed the drink Jamie gave me.

"Is there alcohol in this?" I examined the drink

She chuckled "Of course! It's a pool party! Dapat may mga beers and cocktails!"

Ngumiwi ako at itinabi ang inumin sa lamesa sa tabi ng lounge chair.

"Hindi ba kayo lalangoy?"

I turned my head and saw Aziel. He was only wearing shorts. I saw girls giggled while looking at Aziel's abs.

Umiwas ako ng tingin "Baka mamaya na

"Night Swimming?" He asked

I nodded "I understand with a fair skin like that, of course takot kang umitim" si Aziel

I chuckled "Hindi naman, ayoko lang magsuot ng bikini sa harap ng maraming tao"

I took a sip from my drink and tasted the alcohol. Napangiwi ako.

"Aziel, Gianna, Makikihalubilo lang ako dun" turo nya sa iba pang kaibigan ni Tyler.

I nodded. Jamie's outspoken very opposite from my attitude. I mean i can talk and feel comfortable around people but i'm scared to approach people first.

Umupo si Aziel sa tabi ko "You met Lorenzo?"

Napa-angat ako ng tingin sa kanya. I saw him nung nag blow ng candle si Tyler but after that, hindi na.

"Yeah"

He smirked "That guy... Bigla bigla na lang nawawala. Maybe he's hanging out with his girlfriend"

I gave him a question look "Girlfriend?"

He smirked when he saw my reaction "I dont know too. Maybe, fling?"

My heart throbbed. "A-Ahh..."

"What are you doing, Aziel" a serios voice lingers my ears.

I turned my head on Lorenzo who is looking serious now.

He is wearing a white polo shirt na may tatlong butones na hindi nakasara. He's also wearing a black cargo shorts at naka itim na shades.

Aziel chuckled "Chill, bro"

Tumayo si Aziel at umalis na. He waved his hand at me. Lorenzo on the other hand, is still glaring at Aziel whose now having fun with the other guests.
